We are traveling with our high school band and have a group of about 55 people. We had buffet style dinner and ice cream dessert. Everything was tasty. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Arrived here after Comicon around 5:30. When we were seated we were told in advance that there was a half our wait for our dinner but once it came it was delicious. Ordered bruschetta to hold us over until dinner and again it was very flavourful but the bread was so skinny like melba toast...just expected something a bit different.... More

We went on a Sunday for an early dinner so the ambience was low key and the pace not as frenetic as it would be on a Thursday or Saturday night. The food was very good with the basics for a kids menu that you would expect at an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and can imagine it... More

We just had a great experience at the revamped Badali bar last night. Luckily venue was able to accommodate last minute grouping and was seated without incident. Been here over many years but was first time since recent memory and got to enjoy a revamped menu. Portions were great and the variety on the menu accommodated the many 'foodies' at... More

Before the Raptors game on Monday night our family headed to the Badali Bar and Cucina on Front Street. The menu is very large with Italian traditional food . We choose it for its close location to the ACC and it had items for the fussy eaters in our party. We ordered three appetizers grilled calamari, breaded calamari and bruschetta.... More

The Badali Bar and Cucina is located very close to the Toronto Convention Centre and is my favorite place to eat when I am attending the annual PDAC convention. The staff is wonderful and the food is very good and arrives quickly once ordered.

The smallest portions for an Italian restaurant with the biggest prices. We are very small people and still left hungry. The "kale risotto" was watery rice with some small pieces of kale, not "kale risotto" at all - very disappointed. The mushroom ravioli was good but was appetizer portion, same with the "risotto". Service was impersonal and rushed, even though... More

On our most recent visit to Toronto we stopped into The Badali for some Italian food. It is located in the entertainment district at Front and Simcoe Streets. This is a large restaurant so getting a table is not hard. The service was friendly and quick. I had a pappardelle bolognese - prepared with braised veal and beef. My husband... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
