Great service and delicious food. I tried the "Exohiko"; the lamb was tender and full of flavour, when combined with the feta and romano cheese. Filling too !

A nice traditionally styled greek restaurant with great service. I happened upon this restaurant while walking in the area. Although there were a few choices of greek restaurants to choose from, for some reason I was drawn back to this one and it was a good choice. Not only were the prices reasonable, the selection on the menu offered enough... More

My wife and I walked into this restaurant after 10:30 pm on a Saturday night. There was a 50th birthday party ongoing and they were able to seat us. The menu has a lot of variety and my wife ordered the Exohiko (lamb & feta/romano cheese in phyllo pastry) while I had the Kalamari skaras (grilled squid). Our meals were... More

I went with my family for an outing and decided to go to the danforth as the Italian restaurant we usually go was closed early due to the labour day weekend. We parked and walked along the danforth and chose to sit outside a patio and came across Megas. The canopy shading the patio was torn and placed with grey... More

Great service, huge portions and lovely food. Completely stuffed. Will visit again but order less food next time. They even warmed the after meal brandy and gave us containers to take home what we couldn't manage to eat in the restaurant.

One of the best Greek restaurants, if not the best, on the Danforth. Great kitchen cooking and preparing all the great food. The best service and always a smile and "hello" from the owner who is always there to make sure things are done right. You really cannot go wrong with this place. There are two levels of seating indoors... More

My friends and I were starving one saturday night and looking for a place to have dinner, it was 11 pm and most sit downs were either closed or closing up! So we passed by Megas and realized it was opened we went in and they greeted us super nicely! the food was excellent and the service was even better!

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
