Went with friends on a busy Saturday evening. The service was very quick and efficient. The all you can eat selection provided an enormous range of choices and everyone left more than satisfied. Only down side is the amount of sugar in the sauces.

I ordered the gluten free all you can eat menu, and I have to admit I wasn't full and feeling bloated after eating here. The food was pretty good but, wasn't anything out of the ordinary by far. The service was quick, and efficient. I would probably order from a la carte menu just to see the difference in food,... More

I first went to Riz for a birthday celebration of someone who was Celiac and required a strict diet. Riz is not only Gluten free, but the food is fabulous and the service superb. I have come back since and alternately order from the Gluten free and regular menu. They identify which dishes are gluten free very clearly with the... More

From the lovely and calm ambience, the attentive and kind service, to the excellent Thai food, I always enjoy this restaurant. It is a place I return to often either for lunch or dinner or take-out! They also offer a full gluten free menu too. The owners and staff are really kind and caring people.

We were looking forward to our dinner from Riz - and even ordered early to avoid any New Year's rush. But it was extremely disappointing. A far cry from a recent order in November - when everything was delicious. Our New Year's dinner was extremely lacking in quality, in taste and in presentation. They also seem to have shortened their... More

This is a Thai restaurant with a special twist, it is dedicated to offering a truly gluten free option; by this I mean there are two kitchens in this restaurant, so celiac sufferers can rest assured they can eat out without peril.

We have visted this restaurant on previous visits to Toronto. It is in an interesting neighbourhood that offers some unique shops and eateries. Our past experiences have been very good. We arrived early, were pleasantly greeted and seated. The extensive menu is offered in both regular and glutin free, unlike many places that have a small gluten free section. We... More

Slow, hidden costs, not friendly, and food is just alright. I would not recommend and if you still go after this, sorry, I told you so

It's close to my house. Food is average but they do have some dishes like the rice and shrimps that are very good. If your in the area then give them a try. I would not do out of my way to get there.

Staying in East York

Neighbourhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
