One of the better brunch places in Toronto. You are going to have to wait a while to get in on a weekend unless you show up early (I was there recently at opening and it was already three quarters full at opening at 8 AM.) Brunch being a separate sub-culture in Toronto, a place like this almost has to... More

So I was going to go somewhere else for Brunch, but have heard others saying that this was 'the place'. Always a line so I never had the time. This day however, there were plenty of people, but a seat was possible. The intake was rushed. Seating was so tight that our seat was literally right beside the freezer. One... More

I would advise getting take out and eating brunch at home on the weekends. It's packed, noisy and your clothes smell like butter afterwards. The desserts and pastries are worth the trip!

This was our third time to this cozy cafe and because it's winter reduced tables. There is a heated and enclosed area outside, if you are ok with that. Our wait time was longer than we normally would endure however, we had very good reviews of the food our first two visits. We ended up with the perfect table by... More

just ate here on the weekend. Fantastic food with nice staff. It is a little small and you may have to wait for a table, but worth the wait. Great croissants, and a very varied menu with great specials. Definitely coming back soon.

I always go with my cousin during the holidays. Great selection of baked goods, French Canadian menu items, a European items and North American fare. The tourtière is great. It is small so there is often a wait, but it is worth it.

Wot it says. We enjoy the food, but only as take-out, because the noise level here is perhaps the LOUDEST in Leslieville. The idea of sitting at a table here and trying to enjoy a peaceful meal gives me the creeps. And we can no longer overlook the cash-only policy. Not even debit cards accepted? C'mon guys. There are now... More

I have been visiting this cozy breakfast place at least once a month for the past few years and what I like the most about it is the consistency of food and service and creativity in specials of the day which changes by season. This is not a great place for large crowds as seating is limited and there is... More

After spending a few days in Toronto, we went to this place on our last day after it had been recommended to us by our AirBnB hosts and our friend who lives locally. We were a group of five. Very short queue to get in: not a problem, a queue is usually a sign that there is something worth queueing... More

Lovely food and nice feel. Brunch is amazing on weekends but I prefer the quieter times mid week and food is just as tasty. Latte bowl is a must and the salad dressing (which they sell by the bottle) is outstanding.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
