We had a great experience eating at this place back in February (Winterlicious), so we were curious to see if we would get the same experience and we did. Fine service and served quickly. Didn't feel rushed and could enjoy the food which was good, for instance, I had the Egg Benedict-The classic - delicious. Met the owner who is... More

We visited here before going onto the cinema. From the front it looks quite plain, but inside the decor is good. We were quickly shown to a table by the window (we had no reservation but there were plenty of available seats on a Wednesday evening c5.45pm). There is also outside seating available. The service isn't rushed and it's friendly.... More

The waiters did their best to connect with all customers but that can only go that far trying to compensate for really bad food. This used to be a great restaurant but it's really slipping. We got in for brunch and everything we ordered was very late. The last metal was server 15 minutes after the first of us was... More

Not downtown but oh so close, this is a fine bistro. The steaks and fish and pastas and reasonable wines are all there but what makes it all work is the care and engaging staff. Very well done. A fine experience.

I have been here before and returned with a friend who is visiting Canada for the first time. It was great to have an excellent waiter who also spoke the same language as my friend. We had a great meal.

Food was delicious. Services was great. Ambiance was inviting and relaxing. Price is certainly reasonable. Plus on Thursdays to Saturdays they have live Jazz. Awesome!

Terrible service terrible food. Had lunch here with my brother, the server forgot my water and realized it after I asked for the third time and didn't offer an apology. My salad had brown leaves all over it, one piece of cucumber and about 3 prices of tomato. The dressing was oily and flavourless. My brother had a crepe, nothing... More

Food quite good and staff attentive. Great place to eat before show at Panasonic Theatre. Dining room quite crowded with back to back chairs preventing waitstaff or other customers from navigating without bumping your chair. Preferred table locations include: table for two immediately to left upon entry or in the main dining room, one of the two tables by the... More

Good option if you're going to Panasonic Theatre for show. Lots of selection on the menu. Portions are a decent size and they offer gluten free pizza and pasta options. Goat cheese and beet salad was a light, refreshing salad. Seafood risotto had ample amount of seafood. Veal lemon thyme was flavourful although veal was slightly overcooked. Steamed vegetables on... I was recommended this restaurant by several people so my boyfriend and I decided to finally go. We were greeted pleasantly and seated right away. Everything was fine up until the point when we ordered. Our waiter took our order (we each ordered one lunch item off the menu), and then asked us if we wanted anything to drink besides... More

Description
Family owned Italian/Continental fusion restaurant. We have been a staple in the Yonge and Wellesley community for the past 13 years. Just recently we underwent a major renovation courtesy of the TV show Restaurant Takover on the Food Network. Ambiance is elegant and classy without being pretentious or stuck up. Our exceptionally-trained staff provide our guests with fast and efficient service while ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable, never rushed. But most importantly, they make sure our guests feel welcome in our home.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
