There aren't many places like this anymore. We drop by for a breakfast or comfort food after walking at Humber Bay. Plain fare, well prepared, lots of neighbourhood regulars who get take out or come for the specials. Reasonable and unpretentious. The small Greek salad is enough for two and my lunch favourite.

Since moving to the Mimico area 6 years ago, The Canadiana has been my go-to for a quick, reasonably priced meal with a side of good service and an easy atmosphere. Expect to hear locals chatting across the bar and expect it to be busy - it usually is for breakfast and lunch.

Had , house special , fish and chips , haddock . taste like mush. Average service , but it's a nickel and dime dinner. You pay for what you get

We’re looking into moving to this neighbourhood and stumbled upon this place as we were heading in the direction of the GO train. The service was really good considering there was only one waitress for the entire store (it was Wednesday at two). The food was well priced and a good quick meal. I think we were in and out... This place is your typical greasy spoon. Great breakfast and cheap. If that's what you are looking for then it's the place to go. If you are looking for a fancy expensive brunch or something this is not the place to go. The wife and I can go in here have breakfast, coffee, juice and tip for under $20. Why... More

I went to this restaurant on the advise of friends. I ordered the Large cut of Prime Rib. I asked the waiter how the dish was. He said to me, " the years of continued success of this restaurant are due partly on the strength of this dish". After being served my borderline expensive meal I was surprised to find... More

I've eaten here dozens of times. The food is always good. Basic fare. Nothing fancy. Waitress is nice. Always a full plate. Excellent breakfast.

Have been coming to Canadiana since 1994 when I worked in the area. Always great food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Always quick to refill coffee and water. Love them!!

Recently all menu items were raised by 50+ cents. Not worth it. There's better places in south Etobicoke.
