I have been going there for quite some time. They have a good ambiance. The food is good. They have pretty good choices. Although you might feel that food is almost same every day. Restaurant is clean. Service is good. Good choice of wines and liquor. Recommended.

After having not so good experience at Aroma Indian on the lights and tucked in the corner of this vibrant restaurant strip. We decided to check this one and believe me it did not disappoint us at all. We were bit hesitant in the beginning then the Prawns starters blew us away and gave us more energy and confidence to... First visit to Dhaba and I was not disappointed! The food tasted great, I had the prawn appie (very nice flavours, big shrimp but a little small portion size) and the butter chicken. The butter chicken was loaded with flavour and when I was done it was all I could do to not lick the bowl, Great Food! The only... More

We were a walk in on a Saturday evening. Although the restaurant was full. Food was amazing here. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The service is great, and the food is very high quality, authentic and delicious. We ordered tandoori chicken and it's really fabulous- juicy, tasty, perfectly done and a great portion size for the price. For a... More

we once again took opportunity to visit Dahba for the lunch buffet,as we had Sunday afternoon theatre tickets. The salads are always fresh and very well presented, with great flavour and appropriate spice. Not too hot and yet enough spice to add to the flavour. The mains are always well prepared and although I am not a great consumer of... More

After a show at TIFF, Jen and I decided to this small hidden Indian Gem on the 2nd floor at King west village area. Everything was exceptional from smell of the restaurant to ambience to food and service. Friendly servers with good knowledge of what they are selling. I am not a fussy eater but Jen is pretty picky about... More

I have enjoyed the buffet plenty of times, they have removed some amazing dishes and not replaced it with something of the same caliber (tandoori fish) but I will still say that the food is great. They do say it's halal, but don't quote on that.

You know when you enter a restaurant and your salivary glands start watering? That's the effect entering 309 Dhaba had on me. I only hoped it lived up to how it pricked my sense of smell, and it did. The Tandoori Tiger Prawns, there are two of them in the appetizer, were grilled perfectly and presented with elegance. The Naan... More

After reading mixed and mainly negative reviews, we went to Dhaba as nothing was open that night. Food was great, hospitality was amazing!

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
