Made the mistake of coming here to play pool with some friends :(. There are 2 pool tables jammed at the back of the place next to a huge pole and crammed in among eating tables, other electronic games and the thruway between the kitchen and rest of the restaurant. There is not even enough for 1 pool table yet... More

Needed a place with TVs to watch the Raptors game so we decided to come here. There are many TVs, lots of speakers and projectors as well. Great for large groups too. This is my first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect so we started off with the calamari. And this is BY FAR THE WORST CALAMARI... More

This tavern-restaurant has been around for some time and fells very much like a sports bar. If you are hard of hearing, maybe choose to come weekdays and/or for lunch. late or otherwise. As aforementioned, it could fairly be described as tired-looking inside. Staff do their best to be friendly and provide for all diner's needs. Outdoor sidewalk seating during... More

We (a group of 5) visited while we were walking along the Danforth because it looked quite nice from the outside. It was a little tired looking inside with very few customers. The menu was quite varied at the prices were average. When the waitress brought my food she managed to spill all the ketchup from a small bowl all... More

Enjoyed some awesome jumbo chicken wings with friends and sat on a beautiful patio. Their butter chicken was homemade and very tasty too. Candi was amazing and the food was excellent.

This place is big. Staff are OK but not special. Food is mediocre. They won't let you tie a dog to the patio fence. Bad move in this neighbourhood. We give this place a new try every couple of years, and then pass again :P Too many good options in the hood.

Went on Monday evening. Had very tasty wings with great selection of sauces, and sweet potato fries. Other items on meme looked good too. Beer is expensive

The worst Guinness I have ever had. Apparently a fresh keg, I sent the first one back and the second was no better. Another themed Irish pub that just doesn't come close to getting the little things right.

Fox and fiddle has the typical pub atmosphere in both the decor and staff. With the great weather in August, we managed to get a table on the Patio. Both the staff and patrons were very friendly and helpful. With a variety of pitchers we had a long and fun evening. Food was pretty impressive as well. My favourite dish... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
