My daughter and I had a Mother's Day dinner here. It had been many years since I last ate here, and I remembered the food to be exceptional. Although the food was tasty, however, I was a little disappointed with the portions and the food presentation. I was also disappointed that the fixed price menu shown on the website was... More

We visited this restaurant today for Mother Day. We each ordered a different meal and we're all dissatisfied with the portion size (and we aren't huge eaters). The taste was average and we felt we overpaid for what we got. On a good note the deserts were good (flourless chocolate cake and banana cake). Service was ok, a bit overwhelmed... More

Sorry to about your Mothers Day meal. A senior cook fell ill and we had to scramble to find a replacement. Please call or email paul@bodegarestaurant.com. We would be happy to treat you to another meal. More

Service at bodega was excellent even though the restaraunt was quite empty the night we dined. The decor feels comfortably dated without felling kitschy. Cocktails were done well. The appetizers were excellent. The mains were mixed. The duck confit appeared to be cooked perfectly but was still a bit tough. The bouillabaisse had fish and seafood that were cooked nicely... Came for lunch after our trip to the AGO. Place was busy but the host made us feel welcome despite a bit of a wait at the bar with some light aperitifs. Cocktails were good. Service was not rushed even though we were there a bit later in the afternoon. Duck Confit and Steak-frites were excellent. Recommended!

The beef stew and grilled salmon were very plain/bland and underwhelming. The pecan tart desert was delicious. The carrot and ginger soup was good, escargot and fusulli was ok. Very nice restaurant inside. Food was average.

We chose this restaurant because of wonderful Menu and easy walk to Art Museum of Ontario. We had choice of ordering from the winterlicious menu or their weekend Brunch Menu, many wonderful food items to chose from.. We arrived 10 min before opening hours. It was a cold winter day and we were very happy the door was open and... More

Here on a Wednesday evening for a quick dinner. It was not busy at all and in the section we were seated, there were only two other tables of guests. The ambience was amazing and the waiter was attentive and made a few helpful recommendation. I had grilled quill and the steak, a rather safe choice, and they were delicious.... More

My boyfriend and I visited Bodega on New Years Eve. Their set menu was superb and at $60 affordable. The chef cooked the meat perfectly. I had scallops (maybe a little overpowered by the onion plum relish, but otherwise great), and Bodega's surf and turf. Which was fillet steak and lobster, absolutely divine. Al a carte prices were reasonable for... More

Visited the AGO nearby and needed a good supper on a cold night. We reserved Bodega for five in mid-December. Place was virtually deserted on a Sunday evening, but the attentive staff offered a warm greeting, and we were promptly seated. Quickly, a few very nice baskets of (house-made?) breads. Some went to the Prix Fixe, others a la carte.... More

The Warm Calamari Salad was very nicely seasoned and garnished. It was a good portion, and between talking to my friends and having a sip of my drink, the salad was very satisfying (especially since I was craving seafood that night!). On top of this, the waiter did not rush us to order, and he did not even rush us... More
