We visited on a Monday night/-not very busy. Escargot appetizer was excellent 12 in a sizzling hot butter sauce- offered 2 servings of delicious bread to soak up the butter. I has beouf bougignon - very tasty and tender. The plates for the frites and vegetables were very hot - a good sign. My wife said her moules were terrific.... More

This is my second time here, first review. Went for Summerlicious dinner and was hoping to give this place another chance. There were only about 8-10 full tables with two servers and the service was very slow and bread was forgotten when it was mentioned it was on the way and they took a while to take our order. Had... I had high expections of this restaurant based on the the TripAdvisor's rating. We took advantage of the Summerlicious dinner offer and chose this place to celebrate our nieces 14th b-day. We were all extremely dissapointed by the quality of the food. Average at most. Small portions for the appertizers. The steamed/blanched vegetables that came with the main dishes were... More

We were in an area of Toronto that is not our usual haunt. We wandered down Bloor St. W., passed several restaurants and stopped in at La Petite France. It was excellent. I had the mussels and frites and my wife had the lobster bisque. The mussels were in the best broth I've ever eaten and the sliced baguette couldn't... More

We thought our meals were ok/average and the service was VERY slow. There were only 2 wait staff on and the restaurant was busy. The woman who seated us was nice and trying hard to keep up with the pace.

We bought a Groupon for La Petite France. The place is very small and cozy. Staff was not very friendly with Groupon holders. We had to ask if we would be served bread because our waitress served everyone else bread but not us. Also service was very slow. However the food was very good, we had Caesar salad, crab cakes,... This restaurant completely reminded me of our last vacation to France. Being a foodie.. the sauces were in true fashion french. The pate was one of the best we have had in a while. We will definitely come back this little french piece of France.

We had a very nice meal there, but was amazed at the uplift in the price of wine. They charged $36 for a bottle of Yvon Mau Merlot, which sells at the LCBO for $9.95. Now, I'm used to paying twice the cost of a bottle of wine, but 3.6X the cost seems outrageous! The food was good, but at... More

My wife went for a Winterlicious lunch with her girlfriend and enjoyed it. So the two of us decided to partake a few days later. On calling for a reservation we were told that because things were so busy, they decided to extend the Winterlicious offering. This worked well as most people wouldn't have known, so we had no trouble... More
