En Français for sure: charming, formal waiter with a soupçon of puckish wit. Overall, the food is excellent: my wife's rare rack of lamb was superbe and those frîtes are to gain weight for. My provimi calf's liver was incroyable. Over the years we have...More

This sleepy little bistro is worth a visit, if you appreciate classic French cuisine. It’s a neighbourhood restaurant with mostly regulars, but food quality always high and service is friendly. Daily soups and steak frites are a staple.

Once again we were pleased with both the food and service at Merlot. A great French bistro is the west end of Toronto. Consistent offerings with seasonal inclusions. Best to book mid evening when the din of the first sitting settles down.

I have been to this place several times. Service is good and food is good. I will go back. I only wish they had a better selection for dessert. That is the only course I do not eat there. Apps and entrees are excellent.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food was excellent and service was great. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, nicely appointed with tablecloths on the tables. Good menu selections. Very close to the subway stop. Would definitely recommend

We went as a group of eight and had reserved the table a week prior. The seating was cramped and the restaurant was very noisy as it was packed. Our ears were ringing by the end of the evening. The food was above average but...More

Wine list was a pleasant surprise with an extensive selection from many regions. Escargot was perfect. Food was a gastronomic...More

Meeting friends to celebrate a birthday, we convened at Merlot for dinner. Ambience was quiet bistro. Service was excellent, 10/10, well balanced and attentive but never intrusive or poorly timed. Relaxed and unrushed. I started with Fish Soup "St. Tropez" off the menu. Tomato based,...More

My wife and I met friends for dinner at this west end restaurant. My overall review of the experience is extremely positive. I love good ‘European’ restaurants where the owners and staff get the balance of service, attentiveness and food quality just right. That was...More

Etobicoke is a relaxed area along the Humber River.
It's saturated with green spaces and conservatories,
making it a premier destination for outdoor sports,
hiking, and nature walks. Its abundance of parkland
and lakes makes it a typical spot for fishing,
picnicking, and camping out, especially in warmer
months. The peaceful area is also enjoyed by families,
who appreciate its boardwalks and sports facilities.
