Reviewed yesterday NEW

Our group of six was seated in the side room at Midi Bistro to celebrate a birthday. We were regular clientele at there for over 7 years, going a few times each year, and had been return customers because we like the ambiance, and - until yesterday - enjoyed the decent authentic French food. We were extremely disappointed by the... More

I had been to Midi a couple of times and enjoyed the Provencal menu. However, when I came across a Travelzoo prix fixe deal with a 3-course menu that looked enticing, I decided it was time for a return visit. We entered to Bryan Ferry singing oldies but goodies. Not exactly French but it worked. The room is comfortable and... More

The service was great -pleasant, attentive and friendly. There were five of us in the group and everything we had a was fresh and savoury. The prix-fix menu made it great to try all the dishes we wanted. Restaurant is clean and cosy. We would all go back again and it is highly recommended.

We had our belated holiday luncheon here and it just happened to be Winterlicious. The selection of food choices on the menu were delicious enjoyed by all and we didn't have to wait long for our meal. I also can't say enough about the staff. They were so calm, organized, out-right friendly and very accommodating during a very busy lunch... More

Went with friends for lunch during Winterlicious and was pleasantly surprise how great the entire experience was. Although we had to wait a bit for our table it was worth the wait. The food was excellent and portion size totally acceptable. Real value for your money.

We discovered Midi Bistro thanks to Winterlicious. As a French, I was a bit suspicious when I saw that the snails wouldn't be prepared traditionally (with butter, garlic and parsley). But decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be delicious. I then got a duck with a blueberry sauce, even though I am not used to... More

We often eat here, maybe once a month. We find their small dinners to be fresh, tasty and filling. A great reminder of our trip to Paris.

We and our friends enjoy going the annual Toronto Summerlicious restaurants, in July finding many fabulous three course meals for literally half price. This year we choose Midi Bistro, firstly because it is downtown, so close to the Art Gallery of Toronto and walking distance to other intriguing buildings AND secondly/now because of the fabulous food and service.

Fabulous french restaurant. Small and quaint. Great food and original organic wines that we have not tried anywhere else. Try their vegan shepherds pie.

This was the second and last time with ate at this restaurant. The first time we came a couple years ago, we met with the chef who was French and his wife who served us very well (who also spoke French), and the moules-frites were absolutely excellent. We came this weekend to this little charming bistro, and except from the... More
