The good: excellent food, great atmosphere and service. The bad: the wait for brunch. Since they don't take reservations for brunch, we found ourselves waiting extra long during the holidays. The wait was almost 2 hrs, and when you are hungry that is eternity. This of course was no fault of the staff, just that people were not leaving and... More

We went in without reservations. The hostess made us at bar an hour when there were so many tables vacant for that time. For our entire stay of 2 hours, we saw so many tables open for brunch. Food wise - the best is the pancake, tried steak and eggs, no flavour, steak done too well when asked for medium.... More

Ordered their famous blueberry buttermilk pancakes which came in three thick slices topped with blueberries and on top of syrup. Order it with the whip cream on the side so you can decide how much you want to add. The pancakes are not exactly light and fluffy. If you want that then this is not for you. It is a... More

Definitely one of my favorite brunch place in the city! The pancake is of course amazingly done, satisfying my love for blueberry. I felt that their scones are the best cuz I used to hate scone. But after trying all their scones as complimentary bits for the long waiting time, I really enjoyed scones for the first time!

NO reservations! Ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours! Perhaps they should allow reservations for half of their availability, so they can still operate to full capacity without idle table time. When our table was ready, we found the dining space to be expansive and interesting. Service was quite good and our server was excellent. The food is delicious! Pancakes are... More

Excellent service, modern decor, creative menu items, this place has it all! Pancakes are too die for delicious and big enough to share. Rosemary bacon was amazing ask for extra crispy. The omelette was amazing with smoked ham and cheese. The scones and biscuits were awesomely delicious! I would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Had a lovely group brunch here. The portions are very generous so we shared some of the plates, especially the blueberry pancakes. We were lucky to visit on a warm day and so were able to sit outside, although the inside looked really nice too. I'd recommend the blueberry pancakes!

Wowzers, what a great breakfast! My partner and I decided to go out for a special brunch the last morning of our weekend stay in Toronto. We decided on Mildred's based on the positive reviews on several websites and blogs. We took the tram down King street, the restaurant was located near a tram stop. When we walked in we... More

When the food came out I was a bit disappointed. The portions looked small and the food looked a bit generic. I was proven wrong. The portions were a lot bigger than expected (minus the fresh squeezed juices that were child portions) and the food was really good. The Huevos Monty with a side of Chorizo really hit the spot.... Blueberry Pancakes! That is all I can say. They are fluffy, stacked, DELICIOUS! We also ordered the Veda eggs benedict dish with bacon, it was warm and good and a pretty big serving. Great decor, and our server Kimberly was awesome. She had great recommendations for us. I will definitely go back on my next visit!

Thank Jules S
