Wowzers, what a great breakfast! My partner and I decided to go out for a special brunch the last morning of our weekend stay in Toronto. We decided on Mildred's based on the positive reviews on several websites and blogs. We took the tram down King street, the restaurant was located near a tram stop. When we walked in we... More

When the food came out I was a bit disappointed. The portions looked small and the food looked a bit generic. I was proven wrong. The portions were a lot bigger than expected (minus the fresh squeezed juices that were child portions) and the food was really good. The Huevos Monty with a side of Chorizo really hit the spot.... Blueberry Pancakes! That is all I can say. They are fluffy, stacked, DELICIOUS! We also ordered the Veda eggs benedict dish with bacon, it was warm and good and a pretty big serving. Great decor, and our server Kimberly was awesome. She had great recommendations for us. I will definitely go back on my next visit!

This place was a great find. It was a weekend and was busy, with usually a wait. A friend was flying back to the UK, later that afternoon, so the staff very kindly helped us out and got us a table, a little bit sooner as it was so busy. The waiter was polite and knowledgeable on the menu. The... More

Had a memorable jalapeño sauce. Food was interesting & both our dishes tasted good. Lineup is long & quite a wait, you cannot wait at the bar. They do have a good system, so you can grab a buzzer & look around, they will even text when almost time. The washrooms are stalls and co-ed & play air Canada emergency... More

Recommended for brunch. Very busy and crowded, long wait even after getting there around 10:30. Because I was alone, I was able to sit down pretty quickly. I ordered a lot because I wanted to try a few things - rosemary bacon, huevos monty, and a side blueberry pancake for dessert. The pancakes are incredible and definitely worth trying. Tried... More

Always an hour wait to be fed, which is not ideal when you come for breakfast and have already waited an hour or even two for a table. Not sure why the kitchen is always so slow, and no one ever looks like they have any sense of urgency back there. They should close the visibility of the kitchen off... More

The space is industrial, but the decor is very hip, artistic, and contemporary, depending on which section of the restaurant your table is. Love the wide opened kitchen. Food is deceptively simple but very flavorful. Wish the freshly baked scones were actually hot, though. Price is very reasonable.

Mildred's Temple Kitchen is definitely a restaurant that goes above and beyond for their customers. Below is our experience: Arrived cold and were uncomfortable with the air conditioning on in the restaurant - We were offered blankets. The staff asked our opinion on the new 'share' menu - we were not impressed- lacking taste and overpriced for portion of food... More
