We had a very good time. The food was very good, very tasty. The service was also great. Prices are reasonable, which make this restaurant a great value for your money.

Nami has apparently been in Toronto for decades but our experience was mixed. We were upsold significantly on sake, then had a 45 minute meal that took 2 hours. I will say our food was very good and the prices weren't bad (except the sake),...More

This is a fun, themed restaurant with what seemed to us to be authentic Japanese food. We may not have selected well enough hence 4* rather than 5. The place was buzzing so it's clearly doing something right!

Nami Well past it's prime. It always had attitude but last night was outrageous. They used to be the closest thing to authentic Japanese food in Toronto. These days they should simply add grits, bacon and added sugar to make their overpriced tourist orientated gruel...More

A great experience at this lovely restaurant. It's a very tastefully decorated restaurant with amazing service....had the hot pot with thinly sliced beef and vegetables that you cook in a broth and dip in a vinegar- soya or sesame paste sauce...absolutely delicious!

Very friendly staff , fresh made sushi and sashimi . A little noisy because tables are very close, waited a bit long to get the meal. Checking was the biggest surprise , expected much higher bill. Excellent ! Will be back next time

I went to Nami about six weeks ago and WOW. I'm a Newfoundlander who has spent lots of time in New York, Toronto and San Fransico/Cali wine country. My seafood expectations are very high after places like Nobu and Basho. Nami is fantastic. It is...More

Nami is a great place to go if you want to have a conversation without having to scream over the noise. Food was very good.
