Had a fantastic dinner and experience at ORO. Carlos was our server and he really went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing anniversary dinner! Food and wine were all excellent and they were very accommodative to different dietary needs. The...More

We hosted a dinner for 60 prior to attending the theatre. From the moment I contacted Oro Restaurant and had the pleasure of dealing directly with Connie, until the moment we departed the experience was nothing but professional and courteous. The food was excellent, the...More

Atmosphere is perfect for a business lunch. Service is discrete and sensitive to the conversation at the table. Food arrived hot and was delicious.

This was the latest of several private group parties we have had at Oro. We keep coming back because the food is great, the ambience nice and the staff very accommodating. This time special mention should be made of the beef tenderloin, perfectly done, and...More

Great ambiance for a dinner. The service was excellent. I loved the mushroom soup. The chicken breast was fair.

I wrote a glowing review on this establishment a few years ago. My comments on the foods, ambience, location are still as favourable but I think that a certain aspect of the service needs to be brought to the attention of Trip Advisor users. I...More

Thank you for selecting ORO for your special dinner event. We appreciate all constructive feedback, but this posting leaves us quite puzzled. As well, we take exception to what you are implying because a member of your party, upon arrival, asked to remove all the...More

I had the gnocchi and it was terrible. I would definitely stay away from this dish. It tasted like it wasn't even fully cooked. I hardly ate any of it and when the server collected my plate he didn't even ask whether there was a...More

First and foremost, the food and wine was very delicious. I had the crab and scallop cake appetizer, followed by the linguini with shrimp. First rate on both (and I am very picky about my crabcakes--that to me is a make or break dish). Second,...More

Dinner was excellent. We dined from the summerlicious menu. Our server was an experienced professional who recommended an Italian wine which was a good compliment to our meal. His service was attentive, and jovial but not too familiar or overbearing.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

Each day ORO's creative team pushes the boundaries of the culinary imagination with appetizers, entrees and desserts prepared neo-Italian style but subtly accented with hints from around the world. Add to this an award-winning wine list and it's no surprise ORO was selected one of Canada's Top 10 Restaurants by the Globe and Mail soon after its 1997 opening. Cozy, romantic booths, warm tables by the fireplace, and four private rooms available for meeting/special occasions.
