I highly recommend this restaurant. Staff are all so professional, food was done to perfection, and they helped us all make great choices off their menu. This was my second visit. I look forward to my third visit.

This is a great place to feel relaxed with enjoyable company and a very friendly and helpful staff. A great menu, not to big, specials on the board. Easy decisions and great food all the time!

There is no good excuse for an Italian restaurant to make people find they need a switch from Italian food. There are as many kinds of Italian food as there are pasta. In some ways, we shouldn't even talk of Italian food, since it is regional, not just national. This place honors the great variety of Italian food. I went... More

Everything about this tiny restaurant is superb. From being greeted and treated like their best customer to the service, to the food, it was an excellent dining experience. We both had the braised lamb shanks and, as I told the waiter to pass along to the chef, they were the best lamb shanks I'd ever had. We were very lucky... More

This is a terrific place, with great food, great service, great atmosphere and not too far from the airport. We wanted somewhere on the way to the airport for a proper meal before airline food!!! This was a great choice, really nice people, totally flexible with requests and reasonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to go again and would be happy to... More

Terrific ambience. You feel like you're in a large living room, at a party for your extended family. the staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. A limted but thoughtful selection of well-priced wines.

I'm hesitant to write a review because I don't want more people to know about this fantastic restaurant. Simply put - excellent Italian food and great service. If you don't order the bruschetta you are doing yourself a disservice. If you're looking for a solid midtown dinner place, this is it. But be sure to make a reservation!

Live in the area but have not tried Positano in many years, now wishing we had. Very reasonable priced with tasty pastas, pizzas and daily main dishes. Shared a pizza with my wife to start, crust was perfect! Butternut squash pasta for main at $17.50 was very tasty and good size portion. Guests had a calamari and loved it. Make... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
