I love raw fish, so Sushi-Sashimi is an natural attraction for me. The menu on the window for this All You Can Eat Sakura Sushi restaurant seemed fairly priced, so I went in. To be fair to the readers, I disclose that I don't eat rice, and chose menu items like avocado salad (five thin pieces of avocado on a... More

Came for all you can eat sushi and was impressed by the service and the variety of choices. My friend is vegetarian and there were a wide variety of options for her as well which was nice. My personal favourites were eel sushi, salmon sahimi, and green dragon rolls. I found the rolls and sushi here to taste fresher than... More

Sakura Sushi was very accommodating with our group of over 20. We got the reservation during the midweek, but they were fairly busy. Looks like it's where many local Asians hangout to get good sushi. Their portions were pretty good. Flavor I would say not bad bordering a little bland, but I'm sure that would depend on what you choose... More

Toronto has a remarkable amount of Sushi restaurants, so it's quite a find to discover great quality as well as great prices. Avoiding the all you could eat menu we headed for the a la carte and ate all we could....However, we still couldn't manage to break the $100 barrier for three of us leaving the restaurant fuller that we... As we were paying, the server literally held us back for AT LEAST five minutes because we didn't have enough money to tip her. She made it seem mandatory!!! And made us feel GUILTY! We were extremely astounded at her unprofessional perseverance to get money out of us. WE ARE STUDENTS.

The quality was unexpectedly poor on our takeout. Food seem to be prepped the day before. Salad was mostly yellow. We had to throw away most of the food. Disappointing.

The family chose from the AYCA menu, all together about 10 or 12 plates. We have eaten here before; the food very good value and the service is generally good. Not a single item on this occasion was fresh, a number of the items were inedible. Some staff members were unfreindly. A restaurant that cannot maintain a reasonable standard at... More

We went for dinning on a Friday night and got all you can eat on this place. It was amazing, excellent price: $20 including desert. Sashimi and sushi were fresh and well done, as well as all other japanese foods. Not japanese foods (onion rings, calamari) were so so, they were too oily. Drink options need improvement, they should add... More

Very broad selection. Not amazing but decent. Great value for money. Have lunch there and you won't have to eat for the whole day.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
