Teroni used to be a great place to go for a good pizza and a reasonably priced glass of wine. Pizza still excellent wine prices have gone through the roof, so much so I don't order wine anymore. . Why the price hike ??

Place is very small and it seemed really crowded, I requested a "quiet" area but there is no such thing... The food was not bad but the portion sizes are extremely small and the price is high. I got cheese ravioli and there were (literally I'm not exaggerating) FOUR ravioli pieces in my place... that I proceeded to devour in... More

As a gluten free eater there are not many Italian restaurants that can fill the bill when it comes to satisfying my palate. Terroni's, however, was fantastic. I had a wonderful dish of red snapper, sans pasta, and it was great. Small digs with a great atmosphere, but you have to watch where you sit to avoid cold weather drafts.... More

I live down the street and Terroni was a staple for me and the family for years. As they grew the franchise, they grew in arrogance. At one point I would recommend this place to other people but now this wouldn't be a place I would send someone. It's expensive and the staff is hit and miss. Too many other... More

Visited Terroni with my family on a vacation to Toronto. The waiter was good, he was friendly with our daughter which was a relief for me as I wasn't sure how she would be welcomed at an upscale establishment. We asked for a kids menu, waiter said there wasn't one but they could make her a kids pizza. We assumed... More

Terroni has a delicious menu. I love the seafood pasta. It's lightly spiced and full of shrimp, clams, and oysters. We find the noise level excessive at times which can impede conversation.

On a whim we gave this place a try while visiting friends in the city who were working the Boat Show. We had four in our party, and everyone was very pleased with both the meal and the atmosphere. I ordered the Spaghetti al Limone and it was wonderful. A nice light alterative to traditional spaghetti recipes. The house baked... More

Pizzas aren't the best here, but it's a good place to bring your out of towners for a not too fancy but nice dinner with a good vibe. Again, don't bring pizza-goodies, they won't be impressed

This is our go to place in Toronto. We love Terroni. For the most part, they don't take reservations (I think you can make reservations outside the core dinner hours). During dinner hours they tend to be very busy. The pizza is fabulous. The crust is thin and delicious and so are all the toppings. We also always order the... More

Staying in Queen Street and West Queen West

Neighbourhood Profile
Queen Street and West Queen West
Known as the Art & Design District, West Queen West is one of the most energetic and dynamic of Toronto's neighborhoods. Along with its great modernist museums, clubs, and restaurants, it's home to some of the funkiest specialty shops, ranging from clothing to stationary to collectables, and caters to niche and vintage shoppers of all kinds. That makes it a mecca for creatives, including hobbyists designers, writers, and painters. With ink on their hands and fabric pelts in their bags, visitors to Queen Street traverse the avant-garde blend of historic architecture and ultra-contemporary fare. Home to some of Toronto's chicest hotels and most modish java fixes, busy with street cars, and always suffused with live music drifting onto packed patios at bars and clubs by nightfall, the vibrancy of West Queen West is undeniable.
