Lovely environment and appropriate pricing. Staff is friendly, as are the other diners. Food is good enough-not particularly special, but certainly good tasting. Best place for a first date!

In the ocean of mediocre, "me-to" chain restaurants in Scarborough, the Stone Cottage stands apart. Generous portions, generous drinks, and an attentive, friendly staff. If you've been looking for a good restaurant in Scarborough, you owe it to yourself to try the Cottage. You won't be disappointed. You will be back. Here's a hint - start with the fried (not... Had a wonderful Friday evening at the Olde Stone Cottage Pub. The food was wonderful, the prices more than reasonable and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. There was also a fabulous band.

Good place for entertainment too! And the patio is one of the best around. Friendly service in a historic stone building built in the 1800's. 25 beers on tap!

I would go back to this place for a drink and the atmosphere but the food, no way, wings were so bad, then decided to try the ribs, and they were even worse. I would not eat at this restaurant again. We stated our opinion to the waitress, she apologised and brought his the check, We paid and chocked it... More

I had a chicken wrap, my friend the macaroni/cheese/bacon. The mac & cheese was a bit disappointing and the bacon was well hidden! Everything else was fine. Great place to go, with a lovely patio area. Much bigger inside than I expected.

We've been anxious to try this amazing looking patio in my friends neighbourhood. And it is a beautiful patio but on a sunny Sunday lunchtime they were seriously understaffed, after a 20 minute wait I asked what draft beers they had and was sharply told there's 24 obviously too many for her to name. No offer of a bar menu... More

Great night for sitting on the patio after the heat wave. Good food...BFC (Buffalo Fried Cauliflower) is awesome just the right amount of sauce. Wings good and crispy Nacho's with the beef...plentiful. The wasps and roar of the Kingston Road are the only thing that spoil the venue!

This is not my first time eating at this restaurant. We normally eat here while visiting the beach. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was nice. I did find our server to be quite slow and inefficient. She didn't really chat with us and we had to call her back a few times to get things we needed.

Great old historic building. Incredible patio! Pool tables. They have entertainment including live bands and DJ's. Lively at night. Fun bar. Always come back. Lots of great food. Lots on the menu.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
