The view is amazing despite the revolving function no longer working. The service was adequate. Those however were the high points of our experience. This restaurant has the desperate air of an operation on it's last legs. It is tired and threadbare. The food is way over priced and below average.

Very disappointed with the service we received at Toula. Whilst it is unusual to be booked into a venue at the same time as a corporate event we accepted that it does happen. But the regular disturbances of the PA system and the screen falling down were never apologised for. We only received any type of apology when we neglected... More

The view is amazing... that's it. Everything is pretty old, the carpets really need to be changed, the place in general looked kind of dirty to me... they really need to do something to renew it. The menu needs to be improved. I had the paccheri con ragù d'agnello (lamb ragu pasta): the pasta was not paccheri, they were normal... More

It was a very hot day, but air conditioners freeze the restaurant, it was like the Ice bar. It was too cold to stay for dinner, but we spent some time in the bar. The view was gorgeous, and cocktails perfect .

Meal was excellent, service is absolutely terrible. The waitresses are all slow as turtles. Getting a glass of wine was like pulling teeth. My wife and I were as dry as the Sahara. They could've made another bottle of wine from us....but service was some of the worst I've ever experienced. The appearance of the waitresses looked like they had... More

The service, food & beverage were great! The décor... somewhat dated! A re-vamp & make-over is past due. Great location & wonderful vistas.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
