Even if your date is your wife ;-) Hadn't been in a while and now wonder why I hadn't been back sooner. Best Duck Breast I've ever eaten. Lamb must have been good too as our table was pretty quite until the plates cleared. Didn't...More

From the exterior and interior decor, warmth of the staff and amazing food, this is one of my absolute favourite spots in the city. Gourmet sized portions but cooked to perfection.

Auberge du Pommier is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The French cuisine is breathtaking; the service is focused and attentive without being overbearing; the space is quiet and elegant. Dining here is like spending a few hours in heaven, and it almost hurts to...More

Went here for a family celebration; 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child, and were pleasantly welcomed by the impeccable servers. Throughout the night service continued to be attentive, kind and warm. I ordered the Boeuf, ($52) which comes with potatoes, broccolini and small onions stuffed...More

Usually an extraordinary experience, but a bit of a dip this time. Service was spotty. Dinner was very good, but not up to Auberge standards. Perhaps just an "off" night. I always enjoy the wine...

We were treated to a dinner out at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely divine - the atmosphere, the service, the food. There was nothing I would change or wished different!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends at a simply beautiful restaurant. We had enjoyed dinner here a few years ago (for winterlicious), and needless to say the restaurant is still absolutely wonderful. Great service, exceptional menu, and a magnificent wine selection. If you have never...More

Perfect portions and the cuisine is meticulously prepared. Not typically a consumer of French fine dining but really enjoyed this one. Highly recommend the tasting menu with wine pairing. Compared to other higher end dining options, relatively good value for money!

The food is fresh and well prepared. I had the trout which was really outstanding. The service is excellent as you would expect in a fine restaurants. Definitely worth a visit if you're inToronto.

North York
North York is one of Toronto's most culturally diverse
neighborhoods. Home to a number of cultural events
throughout the year that celebrate the city's varied
ethnic communities, it's always worthwhile to see
what's going on in the area. Its cross-section of
inhabitants include students and long-time residents,
giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both
local and international. Extremely family-friendly,

Smart casual. Some men are in Blazers while others are in a nice polo shirt. Females are in pants or skirts, whatever you'd wear to work I'd say.

$200-250.00 for two, including wine. But of course it depends on what you order, how much, etc. They have an on-line menu that should be helpful.

The original jewel in the Oliver & Bonacini crown and a North Toronto icon, Auberge du Pommier has been serving guests since 1987. Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style. Featuring wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush, floral terraces in summer, it is a welcoming, refined retreat from the city.

A modern French fine dining restaurant, Auberge du Pommier exudes a quiet confidence, reflecting a commitment to culinary excellence and inspired service. Auberge du Pommier is defining contemporary French cooking in Canada. The cuisine honours both the refined techniques and rustic styles of classic French fare, with an innovative North American accent. Simple yet elevated, seasonal menus focus on quality by using the finest ingredients, highlighting their natural flavours and textures and plating them elegantly.

Through its appreciation of fine food and elegant presentation, its intelligent, sincere service and its French, country-inspired décor, Auberge du Pommier perfectly balances charm and sophistication, romance and refinement.
