This restaurant is my favourite. All food is well prepared and presented. Very reasonably priced. Generous portions. Good for small groups or couples Try the potato pancake with the goulash stuffing.

Back ribs (onions and spices) was excellent and the crepe with sweet cheese didnt disappoint. Two egg breakfast was average and if I go back here it'd be for the back ribs! Id also try their goulash.

My husband's side of the family are Polish and they say this is the best Polish food in the city. I wholeheartedly agree! We love it so much that we even had our wedding dinner here. They were so good to us and even brought out the fine China for our little wedding party. Our favourites include Pierogies (of course)... More

I tried this place because of the good reviews. Was in the area to visit high park and see the cherry blossoms. This restaurant lived up to the hype. Nice quaint little restaurant with good service. We had the platter for 2 which was as everyone else said definitely more than enough food. First time at a polish restaurant and... More

Reminds Mom of Granny's cooking. Huge portions, schnitzel amazing, potato pancakes addictive. Well worth the cost of the dishes with quality and size. Seriously have to go at least a couple times a year, since we come from the other side of the city.

We needed a restaurant that was open on Monday and after searching Tripadvisor we came up with this restaurant that was located close to our home, in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood. My brother-in-law who loves Ukrainian food thought that this restaurant would be fun to try and it was. It was easy to find parking on the street as we came... More

Came here for an early dinner and was absolutely delighted with the food. I got the Hungarian style pancake with goulash, which was delicious! The potato dumplings with meat, perogies, and the paprika stew (which others at the table got) were also very very good. Very large portions for the price. Will definitely come back here again!

Ordered the cabbage rolls filled with mushrooms, borsht soup with pork dumplings, and 6 pierogis filled with cheese and potato - every single dish was a masterpiece! Full of flavour and absolutely delicious! Split all this food with another person and we were quite full! The prices were reasonable too. Will definitely be going back to try a few more... More

Make sure you are hungry. Portions are huge, always leftovers to bring home. Extensive menu, tried many dishes and specials, all are delicious!! Highly recommended. Make reservations during peak hours or you will wait in line.

Visited recently with 3 friends. We started with a selection of pierogies: 6 mushroom and sauerkraut; 6 cheddar and potato. The pierogies arrived with a very tiny cup of sour cream and an equally tiny one of pork and onions. Pierogies were ok; not anywhere as tasty as ones I had in Poland. There was far too little sour cream.... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
