This restaurant has amazing dosas!! If you like Indian food, this is a must try. Food is not too spicy so not to worry. I love their masala dosa. Great place for vegans or vegetarians as they do not serve meat.

We went here for a lunch buffet...The food was ok. This was our first visit. I've had better South Asian food for lesser. Wouldn't come here again.

Try their Buffet breakfast which is very sumptuous and tasty. Good variety with tasty dishes with unlimited tea and coffee. Breakfast time is busy so better to book in advance. Some of the dishes are very spicy. Better to taste a bit before you really take these. Interestingly, a sign on each table says, if you waste food, will be... More

I've experienced their dosas twice before. Once was at a private event last summer, and the second time was last Fall, when we met up with friends. Today, we met up with friends again, to celebrate Family Day. The restaurant was busy, but not overly so. Wait staff were fairly attentive. Food, however, was a HUGE disappointment. Ordered pav bhaji,... More

Went for dinner with family & friends. Buffet was the only choice. No a la carte menu. Buffet was $ 15.00 pp. Choice was limited. There was rice, naan, curry and dosa. Limited desserts. Being a South Indian restaurant there was no idly. Rice was plain, rice with vege and another savoury rice. No yogurt rice which is usually a signature... More

They have a weekend breakfast buffet that we went to sample. Price was reasonable, typical South Indian fare of dosas, sambar, idli, vada- all you can eat. They bring you the plain dosa, which you then need to fill with the potato masala. The chutneys were good, so was the sambar and vada.

Great food for a low price. Service was awesome. Had lunch once there at a fixed price with all you can eat. Dinners are on a menu with tons of items to select from. Topped it with a cup of Madras coffee.

Best authentic South Indian veg food in Toronto. Their lunch buffet is very good with a good mix of items (wish they had Pakoras or some appetizers in the buffet). Have eaten there many times and they consistently deliver good quality food. They also have weekend breakfast buffet (yet to try it).

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
