So glad we can walk into this place after awhile with friends who have never been here before and they are very impressed. To start, the dark, steam-punkish, airplane metal, sculpted and eclectic artsy environment is always a thrill to the eyes. You MUST get...More

Busy restaurants can be a tad noisy at times, but all these smiling people are either up to no good or are here for the food! And oh mio Dio, such food! The menu and the pizza assortment cater to every taste. The wine list...More

The food is good and the service was decent but these people practically kicked us out and we spent quite enough money. Three waitresses came to ask if we wanted our food packed up....when we had just ordered another bottle of wine and were half...More

Had dinner here recently and it was better than ever. Went a few times in the past and was very good, but most excellent this last visit. Bravo The Mushroom caps + pizza was great. The Seafood platter was spectacular!

A group of us came on a busy Saturday night. We waited just a little while and were seated at a comfortable table. The decor is eclectic, with many different furnishings and metal pieces; yet the overall effect is comfortable and cozy. The food here...More

Their pizzas and pastas are super yummy! This is a nice and small spot in the city that helps you forget you're in the city! Nice ambiance and a perfect little spot to chat, mingle and relax.

Managed to sneak away from the kids last Tuesday for a quiet dinner. Got a seat on the patio. I always worry about sitting on a patio when the restaurant has the doors closed. We were very well taken care of. Great service. Food was...More

I love southern Italian food. I've been a customer since Ferro opened and I regularly visited throughout the 90s but haven't been in the 2000s. Until today. Neighbourhood: It was nice to see the Italian nonnas all in black, well-dressed nonnos, a long haired and...More

We hadn't been to Ferro in over a year - but have been often over the years. This restaurant is consistently very good! Typically we have the Seafood Platter for Two. It's very tasty and plentiful!

Ferro has been established and family-operated since 1993.The Space: Originally a billiard hall of colorful yet dubious character which endured for over 20 years, the Pronesti family took possession over two decades ago and added eclectic yet tasteful elements of avant-garde, industrial design while maintaining the vibrancy and creative energy of the original location. The Food: Serving up traditional southern Italian cuisine with a spin wherever we feel it’s long overdue. Our original culinary ambitions have never changed: By holding true to the family recipes and dedication to fresh ingredients as passed down through the generations that have preceded us, we bring you authentic, honest, home-cooked food the very same way we enjoy it.Our Style: We believe in the traditional family-style of a crowded table filled with quality, delicious foods and plenty of welcoming hospitality. As many of our customers will confirm, we’re not shy when it comes to getting out front and setting the tone! We love being involved whenever it’s possible for us to interact with you – and yes, that may also mean catching us at the bar and toasting to a great evening!Groups? As the neighbourhood changes, so do we. An enlarged backroom space now allows us to accommodate various types of large group parties including corporate functions and celebrations of any kind.If there are any questions you have for us or anything that we can do for you; please call.Salute,The Pronesti Family
