Yes it's a little cramped but the reviews regarding the Mac n Cheese being epic were bang on. Tasty and large portions will not disappoint. The second floor is a little more spacious. And yes plenty of beer to choose from. Overall, an enjoyable place to grab some pub food.

We were going to a musical and decided to stop here for dinner. We had great customer service as soon as we walked through the door. Apps and drinks were at the table quickly. Our meals were brought out shortly after the apps were done. Drinks replinished as soon as they seen the glasses were empty. A very good experience.... More

The CAFE is really great! Food is delicious! Had my private party event there, everything went great! The management is very professional, flexible, willing to help, willing to accommodate your event. Plus for beer lovers they have one of the best beer selection in the city. Definitely MUST VISIT!!!

You have a very good crowd and a beautiful Patio. Service is good and you have pretty good options for food and snacks.

Gorgeous evening for a cold beer and Victory has an excellent beer selection. Then....there is little else to be said after that. The tables are sticky, the seating squashed together, the service minimal and the food less than memorable. It seems as though this establishment simply does not give a damn . Kudos to you Victory ...you succeeded in turning... More

Based on a friend's recommendation we went to Victory Café for dinner last night. We arrived around 8.30 and the patio was full, so the hostess said that we could wait inside and that a couple of tables would be opening up. We ordered a couple of non-alcoholic drinks and then she came by to see if we were "ready"... More

The food on offer in this pub unfortunately falls short of the standard established by the many fine beers available here. For a pub night this place is first-rate; for dinner it is disappointing. or so all three of us found it. Neither the steak-and-ribs nor the chicken tacos were better than mediocre.

Went to this place after 9 pm for a late dinner and a drink. The atmosphere was peaceful and the staff were very nice. The food was priced reasonably and tasted great. It was nice to have the choice of local brews.

The knowledgeable waitstaff are always well-informed about all their taps. The food at the Victory is also good. I love this place.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
