Nice breakfast. Nothing special but ok. No freshly squeezed juice. Small pot of tea. 50 CAD for party of 2.

Went here for breakfast on the Sunday we stayed in Toronto. Got there just before the queues but it was full and we had to wait a few minutes. Order taken speedily and coffee delivered promptly. I had the pancakes, bacon, eggs and maple syrup. Wife had a massive bowl of yoghurt with fruit. Both very filling and excellent fare.

Huge choice, big portions of tasty food and good value. Had Cora's Breakfast. The eggs were perfectly over easy, the potatoes (not usually a favourite of mine) were tasty, bacon and sausage perfect and a really light and tasty pancake. The service was great, despite working six tables, our server still popped up as the coffee was getting low to... More

The environment is peculiar and friendly. Cora seems like a holy presence who resembles your grandmother. I had the pancakes, pretty amazing. I wanna try everything!

We grabbed a quick breakfast at Cora's while staying in downtown Toronto. Everything looked good. French toast was great. Fresh fruit was served in abundance. Very good meal at reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend!

Always a favorite spot for breakfast ! This one was larger than most we have visited . Service was ok . Waitress never checked on us after we got our food so we had to stop someone else for more coffee and butter. The menu offered gluten free toast but it was served in basket on top regular toast .... Long-established Canadian chain which met its brief as a breakfast bar par excellence. Portions were huge, coffee was plentiful and service was charming.

The breakfast menu was vast and my husband said his was great. He had the undecided (savoury and sweet in one plate) so was perfect for him. For me, the tea and pancakes could have been nicer. But there were queues out the door and service was great and super speedy. Would recommend

My hotel recommended this place and when we got there around 11:30 AM there was a line out the door. The line moved fast and we were seated in under 10 minutes. The menu is massive, the servers polite, friendly and well trained. We both went pretty simple, I had an omelette and my wife had eggs but they had... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
