Pan fried or steamed, the dumpings here are amazing! It's also fun to watch them being made in the front window of the shop

I only tried the pan fried pork/cabbage dumplings. They were excellent, crispy and chewy wrap and delicious filling. Waited ~10 mins at 4:30pm on a busy Sat for this walk-in take-out order. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

This is a great place if you wanna try Chinese food in a traditional place. The dishes were delicious and huge, and the price is extremely convenient. The place is small and don't expect it to be very decorated, you should go only if you wanna eat good food, try different dishes, but not if you feel like having a... More

The restaurant is very much of a no frills type of place. They only take cash. The dumplings is the reason we went to Toronto and we were not disappointed. One warning, do not wear anything that needs to be dry cleaned. The odor from the kitchen will get into your clothes and have to be cleaned. Otherwise, the food... More

Small restaurant that could try upgrading their dishware and cutlery - all were cracked or chipped. The dumplings were not at all tasty. I think people may like the fried ones as it is at least presented in a semi-interesting manner and maybe the oil adds a bit more flavour. Certainly dont venture past the dumplings as the food gets... More

We had an absolutely delicious meal at The Dumpling House. The fried dumplings were outstanding and the fried rice portions were huge. The service was excellent. A couple things to note: 1. The bathroom is in the basement. 2. They only accept cash. I actually went across the street to the bank to exchange money because they did not offer... More

Small restaurant with great, fresh dumplings which are made in the front window of the restaurant. Service was excellent, reasonably priced... Definitely a place to stop by and enjoy lunch.

On the recommendation of a local, we recently visited Dumpling House- across the street from another restaurant we like- Mother's Dumplings. We loved it! Everything we had was top notch, from the scallion pancakes, to the pork and fennel and mushroom dumplings. With other odds and ends, the price for five came to a little more than what we spent... I ordered Siu Mai, Ha Gau & Wor Tip as the 3 mixed dumplings to eat in plus Gung Bao Chicken & Singapore Vermicelli to take away. They brought the meals out first to eat in - then plate of shapeless dumplings in picture. Having pointed out to the waiter the dim sum wasn't what I ordered - he said... More

We just came back from 2 weeks in China and had to see if the dumplings here were just as good. We were pleasantly surprised. The place was super busy and a line had formed all the way out side by the time we left.

Thank Thomas F
