First off I have been here many times and their pizza is excellent that is for sure. For a person who has 2 gluten free people in his family I have to say their gluten free crust is EXCELLENT! My only complaint is that if you order not one of their pre-determined pizza's then careful of how much it will... More

We had two Margherita pizzas which were really good: thin crust, tasty tomato sauce and plenty of cheese. Vegan cheese is also available, which is nice. The restaurant itself is clean and cozy, but there is no distinctive feature. The service is ok, but once again not fantastic. The overall atmosphere was thus decent. Last thing is that the menu... In Toronto's Entertainment District, Pizza Rustica is close to everything: Rogers Centre, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, etc., as well as trendy King Street West. This is a very cozy location with a small outdoor patio for warmer weather. The food is authentic and delicious. Good portions and pricing. We had the Margerhita Pizza (thin crust) and Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli.... More

I was surprised really to find fresh seafood on a pizza! Fast service too consider the place was packed at the time!

The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious and good value. I've been to that restaurant few times and it's always a good experience.

Service was ok. Menu was limited. Food nothing spectacular. This place has deteriorated over years. Had very average caprese salad. Margarita pizza was good.

I've been to Pizza Rustica many times during weekend getaways to Toronto. However, this will be the last time. The service was slow though it was a moderately busy night. My husband received the wrong beer twice. The pizza was so disappointing. The cheese was rubbery, the pizza was definitely from a can, the dough was uncooked in the middle... More

I'm not really a pizza person but I was impressed by the offerings in this Restaurant. It was busy when we arrived and we only just managed to get a table before it was outside dining only; or join the queue for tables to become available. Despite it being full to capacity we waited only a short time to have... More

My wife and I had dinner here before going to Second City around the corner. Good calamari, Caesar salad and taramisu but the star was the pizza. Thin crust, delicious sauce and just the right amount of cheese. As a native New Yorker, I take my pizza serious, and this was solid. Plus the waiter was a really nice guy,... More

This restaurant was near our hotel and away from the main busy centres. We were looking for a quiet dinner and it appeared to have some vacant tables. We were advised by some existing patrons eating outside to go inside to get seated, On entering there appeared to be only two members of staff and it took a short while... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
