This is a chain. That brings both good and bad. The buns and pastries are very consistent in flavour, and the store is usually well stocked. It's a little more expensive than the other bakeries in Chinatown, but worth it for tye dough-to-filling ratio of the buns, my opinion. And it's bright and cheerful in contrast to the other local... This place was awesome! Clean, well stocked and staff were available to assist. We were so full from eating at King Noodle House, but decided to stop in as we could not resist the sweet smells coming from this place. There were an assortment of pastries, some so big and pentiful that they could have definitely been a side to... More

So happy we stopped at this little gem. Fresh and tasty baked goods. Morning pastries and different pastries in the afternoon, good variety.

Custard cake, red beans with sesame seeds are delicious. The taste is not too sweet and soft. Combined western and asian sweets/cakes. Clean and the staff are friendly.

This is a must stop on any visit to Chinatown or Queen West. Using a tray and tongs you select your individual treats that usually range from less than a dollar to a couple of dollars. Their butter cream, custard and pastry are all excellent. We purchased enough to take back for family and friends. I think two cake boxes... More

Love love love the chestnut cake. The thing I love most about chinese dessert shops is that they are never too sweet and just the right amount of fluffiness!

Good food good service, the staff are helpful, if you are in a budget, this is the best place to go to. Just grab some pastries and you have a good lunch to share with friends and family.

Cakes, pastries, buns and tea. Cheap and delicious. Cakes and pastries look like the ones you get in any chinese bakery. The char sui buns were light and fluffy, even better than what I buy back home. Raisan twists were a good size, totally yummy and not expensive at all. There is also a little seating area that allows you... More

Dropped in for pastries after lunch. There sure wasn't much variety and everything looked a little ragged, if you know what I mean. The fancy pastry case was almost empty with only a few items. Self serve section with sweet and savoury buns, almond cookies etc. We selected two, still warm, black bean sesame balls. Very good! Nothing else appealed,... More
