WOW! I had #28, seasoned pork over vermicelli. I went looking for the bun cha that I had in Hanoi, and this was definitely the closest thing to it. YUM. huge portions and very helpful staff.

There are 2 locations - one more humble, but homey; the other classy and with a back patio. I am a longtime regular because of the delicious food. I'm not Vietnamese, so can't speak about authenticity, but the flavours are various and blend beautifully and dishes are well-balanced nutritionally. There is some French influence in choice of herbs.

We went for a family lunch for a place we could enjoy tasty Vietnamese food which our kids will eats as well. The kids liked the flavoring and the soups. The price for value was good for the value and portion . We had friendly and patiently service. We will come there again.

A very small pho restaurant. Vietnamese run. The kitchen is in the same room so you can also watch them cook your food. Menu is limited but the pho noodle soup is very authentic.

we have tried the other Vietnamese nearby and this is the most tasteful around. We had tried all items on the menu now and all were tasty and generous. Altogether, we come for the delicious Hanoi dill crispy fish (soup or noodles) and the grilled meat platters (chicken lemon grass is my favorite). the staff is super friendly and the... More

This is one of two Hanoi 3s. I have been here a dozen times and never had a bad Pho. The one on Queen St. is a little roomier and nicer but I still often end up here.

We were looking for somewhere comfortable with genuine Vietnamese cuisine to meet up, eat, and catch up, and by good chance found this gem of a place. The setting is modest and totally suitable. The food was authentic and delicious - surprisingly so. The service was attentive and professionally discreet. We look forward to visiting again when we are next... More

Nothing makes my dining experience more enjoyable than a tasty meal at a reasonable price. This restaurant delivers every time. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent, I typically have the fresh shrimp roll, garlic chicken or the lemongrass beef with shrimp paste soup, which by the way is excellent. A meal for two with beer will... More

We have eaten several times at both locales and have enjoyed the meals and the kind service. Owner Hai is very friendly and one always feels welcome. Our fave dishes are the various versions of pho, which have to be among the very best possible BIG soups to consume on frigid winter days. The decor might be more interesting at... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
