Not sure why this place has 4 stars. Sure, at $21 it's cheaper than most all you can eat, but it's not the greatest and the selection is minimal. It's basically $21 for ayce classic rolls and sushi, your salmons tunas and dragon rolls. The location is off the beaten path and the atmosphere is a bit gloomy. The service... More

We visited this restaurant prior to our AGO tour with kids and family visiting from out of town. It was really good, the sushi rolls were delicious and the Katsu chicken was really tasty. Our lunch party also ordered the bento box, which was perfect with lots of yummy options. All the dishes came with miso soup. Everyone enjoyed their... More

For a last minute getaway from life, my husband and I drove to Toronto for some fun and a night here wouldn't be right without a sushi dinner! We drove straight to Chinatown and since it was the end of a workday, you're not allowed to park on the main streets like Dundas or Spadina at the meters. So we... More

Had dinner here with my gf. Comparable with other similar AYCE sushi in the area - higher quality food, very low ambiance. Nice family business - our lady server was very friendly. Sashimi specifically, was fresh, thick, and savoury. Shrimp tempura was breaded heavier then others. Would only come back for takeout next time.

We went in a group of 6, and 3 of got the all you can eat (including myself). The options on the all you can eat are actually quite good, the problem is that the roll quality is bad.I tried all my favorites Rainbow roll, dragon roll, even a salmon roll and they just didnt taste right. The rice made... More

Situated on a nondescript location on Dundas, there's not much to look at from the outside. However, the food was above average compared to the plethora of Japanese restaurants in the city, and service was good. The spicy rolls were indeed spicy (may be Korean influence) and the fair value for the meal. Definitely worth a visit if in the... More

I came here for lunch. I chose for the all you can eat option and I was very happy with the taste of the food. They were definitely not stingy with the fish as some other sushi places are. The service was OK, the staff could be a bit friendlier.

Went to this place with my partner for dinner. Although the restaurant does not look very trendy or appealing from the outside, we decided to give it a go. This turned out to be a good decision. We shared a bento box, a maki roll and a special roll, which was enough for the two of us. The food is... More

Went to the AGO to see the Alex Colville exhibit (fantastic!) and then lunched on a bento box at the Gallery Sushi restaurant. The place itself could use a bit of a refresh, it looks tired, but the service was good, the food fresh and I would go again.
