My father has been heading to Ichiban for years, as he used to be taken here by his former bosses. Since he left that company, we have only gone to Ichiban infrequently, however we have also order trays from them as well. The restaurant itself is quite clean and very accommodating, as well the staff has always been polite and... More

I have been going to Ichiban for years and love the sushi. It is always fresh and tasty. I have been going there for many years. My favorite restaurant in the area. My choices are the Love bento, Chirasi, and the Tempura Udon

I'm giving this Ichiban Fish House 4 stars, based on my experience going to similar sushi restaurants. I'm not comparing it to places like Zen or Kaji. For many years, we've been coming here for a quick dinner. They are busy, yet I don't recall ever having to wait more than 3 minutes for a table. Service is always friendly... More

Went for lunch with a friend. This is part of a chain with a way too long menu. I could not find a lunch sushi platter. They had only 1, hidden with the bento boxes. Food came quickly and was well prepared. Good selection and value for $13 - 6 rolls, 6 sushi, 6 sashimi, salad and miso soup. I... More

We have been to this place a few times now and have never been disappointed. The service is great, the food is always fresh and tasty. The price is extremely reasonable and the choices are plentiful. Sushi and fish dishes are great, quantities are good and the presentation is always superb.

We did take out from Ichiban and found their fish was really fresh (that's a good thing), beautifully presented and so delicious!

This is a review for Ichiban Fish House, on Spring Garden ave., off Yonge. I believe the restaurant photo on this mobile site is incorrect. Anyway.... I agree with one of the reviewer saying that it ain't what it used to be . True that. For those who still want to try it out, comparing to the other sushi places... More

I have been going to this restaurant for about 18 years, and just love it. First of all the fish is always fresh which is the #1 priority when eating Sashimi/Sushi. The food is really good especially the Tempura, the batter is light and not thick and delicious, the the salmon Chirachi is also great, and the Hae Dup Bap... More

I moved away from Toronto a few years ago, but every few months when I'm back in town, I try to stop in here. It's convenient being just off the 401! I pretty well always get the Love Bento, as it has Sashimi, Sushi, and Maki (upgrade the maki to spicy salmon for $1). Great value and always fresh!
