I celebrated my 40th bday at Mr Lee resturant & lounge last night and the services was on point. I communicated with there events coordinator Graylin and she was a delight to deal with and very organized. The atmosphere is perfect for a gathering I had 11ppl in my party and the services was great. Staff is very friendly and... More

I came here for dinner with some colleagues. The wait staff were brilliant! They knew everything about the menu and suggested a fantastic tasting menu for us to try with very well paired wine. Highlights included the Slaw, Cheese burger spring rolls and the Wagu Beef! Highly recommend this place!

In the heart of king west, trendy and loud Lee restaurant serves up delicious creative dishes that look as good as they taste. The slaw is a must try just for the fact that it contains 19 interesting ingredients that will make your tastebuds explode! The grilled octopus was super tasty and didn't last long. Also tried the curry lamb... More

Sometimes you find a restaurant that you will never forget. This is one of them. The food taste, presentation, service, variety, all of them were just perfect. This should be the best restaurant in Toronto.

My husband and I tried Lee's on our last trip to Toronto. It was by far the best meal we had while in the city. Definitely not your typical Asian cuisine, as there were many unique items on the menu. We ordered several dishes and shared them family style (as recommended by our server). The variety and flavours were amazing.... More

There have been times when I've gone out to an upscale restaurant and left thinking that the food was great but not worth the price (or that I’m glad someone else is paying). No so at Lee. The sharing menu approach is not to everyone’s liking, and the flavours are bold, but if you’re okay with that you will thoroughly... More

This is a fairly pricey restaurant so be prepared! Great service, knowledgeable staff. We had the Singaporean style slaw which I did not enjoy as it was a mishmash of various tastes - Singpore, in my opinion, has the best food in the world and this dish did not bring to mind any of the fabulous food I have eaten... Food and service was exceptional. You have to order the slaw! Sat in the private dining room that you enter via the kitchen. Intimate setting, fireplace - you'll forget you're downtown Toronto. Chef was extremely accommodating with allergy concerns (seafood).

We dined at this tapas-like restaurant to celebrate my spouse's birthday. Got served the popular signature Singapore Slaw salad, a mish mash of 19 vegetables. We also had the Indian veggie fritters, rack of lamb Thailandaise, curry roasted chicken, Peking and Char Sui Duck Breast and had the signature tong yuen for dessert. Typical Chinese dishes but served with delicious... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
