The Queen is forever busy and the queue is forever long....the food however is consistently comfortingly, deliciously and proportionally great and huge. Certainly value for your money as lots of older couples as well as younger ones would go there for lunch and would have the...More

One thing I appreciate at Congee Queen is that you get what you order- not a dish that's padded with cheap vegetables. In fact the food is quite tasty. If they could make the service attentive, that would make them one of my go-to restaurants.

My family and I love Congee Queen from the time we discovered it over five years ago. Every dish is savory and well presented. Service is efficient and menu is broad. It definitely is a place we MUST visit each time we visit Toronto. We...More

I ordered take out and called ahead. Plenty of parking for a Thursday night. The order was ready in 15 minutes as expected. The staff were ok but it was annoying to pickup your order and the person taking payment spent the entire time on...More

I went last night to congee queen to satisfy a Chinese food craving, but also because my friend was feeling sick and we figured soup or congee would help. We shared the sliced fish and beef congee, and then ordered some stuffed eggplants and green...More

The wait is way too long, there's no place to sit to wait. The Waiter was talking with another waiter holding food in front of them I can see saliva just enveloping the food they serve. It is so disgusting, there's no etiquette and manners...More

One of our favorite places to go to eat as a family. Our favorite dish to order is the slightly spicy turnip. Everyone in the family loves the food, from the youngest to the elderly. Some dishes that we normally rotate in ordering: chow mein,...More

North York
North York is one of Toronto's most culturally diverse
neighborhoods. Home to a number of cultural events
throughout the year that celebrate the city's varied
ethnic communities, it's always worthwhile to see
what's going on in the area. Its cross-section of
inhabitants include students and long-time residents,
giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both
local and international. Extremely family-friendly,
