Lots of locations around town. Great fries. Good poutine. Quick, friendly service and very reasonable prices. No complaints about this place.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and welcome immediately. We ordered poutine and grilled cheese sandwich with coleslaw spent C$31.62 between 2 (two) people. Restaurant and restrooms are clean and maintained. Interesting artificial fireplace as interior design.

I passed by this place while looking for a place to have lunch and remembered I saw this name on a top 5 of the best poutines in Montréal, so I decided to give it a try. The staff was very friendly and the menu hard to choose from I had the Berger Burger (with goat cheese) and a small... More

Frite Alors is one of the better chain restaurants in Montreal. After arriving at La Banquise at 8pm to 25 people standing outside in line, my boyfriend and I decided to go to this Frite Alors instead. We really enjoyed it! It was quite quiet that night and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our food was tasty and came... More

Well priced food which was delivered quickly. There was an error with our order but they rectified this immediately. The dipping sauce choice is good if a little mayonnaise-heavy.

A decent chain poutine place. At lunch time it was nuts...super packed and loud. I sat at a little bar and service was very slow. The lady was friendly but she was overwhelmed. I had the Frites Alors poutine, which is green peppers, mushrooms, onions and bacon. It was very tasty although at the bottom of the bowl it was... More

To see as a Belgian that the use the name of Belgium and Belgian fries to sell there product, I can say it's almost heartbreaking that the sell this. Hard, small and untasty fries. If you sell fries like this in Belgium then you're closed 1 Month later. They also have Belgian beer but not the right glasses. You can't... More

The frites (fries) are excellent however my burger was thin and dry. Also the server never came back to give us more water and at the end of the meal she charged me for a whole bottle of wine when I only ordered one glass (good thing I checked!)

Looked for a place that would be easy with the kids at 7:30 on a Saturday night and stumbled upon this place. I opted for the lamb burger!!! Poutine was great although I can't imagine anyone finishing larger than the regular size. The heavily tatooed staff were friendly but not falling over themselves to be of service - they were... Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
