Went to this restaurant for the first time last Saturday night and let me tell you we all had a very good time. Every plate presented to us was so beautiful and so tasteful. Even on the next day, I was still floating on a cloud.... This place is a "must" when you want to eat Thai or Japanese !

I have seen this restaurant for years and had heard mixed reviews. First off it's a bring your own Wine restaurant so the prices are exaggerated. We ordered from the table d'hôte which by the way stared at 29$ and went to 38$ with limited main dish choices. We ordered the Sushi platter (16) pieces and the variety was good.... More

Want to say it was my first time there and the food was good but as soon as we walked in the waiter was crap.Dont know if he's the owners son but he was bad.Could not suggest anything and it was the lunch time menu.Little did we know the table next to us asked for the dinner menu.So we had... Food is good; prices reasonable. We've been a few times and have had both sushi and Thai food such as the Poe Pia Sot (fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce - I like the fact that they add mint leaves to the rolls - not too many places do that); the Plan Meuk Thod (fried squid); mixed vegetables and General... the food choices are interesting, but we found that close to 100$ for a 2 person supper is overpriced for white rice and a few chicken pieces and vegetables. It's a bring your own rice which was nice. interesting experience, but will not repeat for me, therer are better places and less expensive.

We wanted to have dinner in the east part of Montreal and found this restaurant. We decided to try the sushi. They had a good selection of sushi and chef specialties. A lot of the sushi rolls and specialties were deep fried and that was a little disappointing. We loved the tuna tartar with lychees, mango and strawberries specialty. The... More

We stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the standard of food. We ordered the pad thai, thai red curry and the fire roll sushi. The sushi was especially good. The food tasted fresh and healthy (not too much oil) and service was fast. We spent $22 CAD/head and felt it was great value, would definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for years, but I think that`s gonna stop The service is lousy, the food gave me the runs and I eat vegan.....so what`s up with that The place has become a hangout for the staff members friends/family - so a little too busy with rowdy young folk - and the menu prices have sky rocketed

Good food. Good service. Reasonably priced. Large selection. BYOB. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they had ordered. Would consider returning again

We arrived at the restaurant with no reservation and we were happily accommodated within minutes even when the restaurant was packed. This restaurant is now BYOW - what a great idea. Staff was nice and always smiling. We had 2 different fried sushi for appetizers and as main dish i tried the shrimp Pad Thai which was delicious, my husband... More

Staying in Saint-Leonard

Neighbourhood Profile
Another focal point of Montreal's Italian community, Saint-Léonard appeals to families and the young at heart, with caverns to explore, museums to take in, and games to play. This is typified by the borough's Leonardo Da Vinci Centre, where visitors are just as likely to view an opera in its plush auditorium as they are to jump onto the lawn for a round of bocce ball. Burn off pasta calories with a stroll through Galerie Port-Maurice, a swim in the massive indoor pool of Complexe Aquatique, or on the steep ramps at Giuseppe-Garibalidi skate park. Perhaps the most curious and magical feature of the district can be viewed by boat on the waters of the underground lake in Saint-Leonard Cavern. A dazzling natural wonder, the sun dapples through the subterranean setting, lighting the bulbous formations of stalagmites and stalactites, and setting the water ablaze with color. Truly a place for an out-of-the-ordinary adventure.
