The place was a bit empty when we went but it was a late lunchtime. Service was OK, The food was fine, I had a croque monsier which although tasty had far too much ham inside.

My granddaughter and I had fondue which is served with a large platter of meats - all delicious. Convenient to old Montreal hotels. A casual place, charming but not as polished as others. Pretty pricey.

We chose not to wait at another restaurant and we were delighted to find this bistro. We enjoyed onion soup and cheese fondue on a cold winter day. If Vieux-Montreal is not quite French enough for you ;-) you walk in this bistro to hear...More
