Although the service was ok, the food left much to be desired. Don't expect a robust bourbon collection if you are a connoisseur. Given the price tag, we cannot recommend this property. Hope the food improves!

After a long day of driving from Toronto to Montreal, hubby and I searched for a nice place to eat. We read some reviews, but ultimately ended up at Firegrill because of the proximity to our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised when we reached our destination. it had a warm and inviting air to the restaurant. We were seated quickly... More

Before attending a show at the Bell Center, a friend and I were looking for a restaurant where we could all have a meal. Three adults, three children ranging from ages 4 to 9. I knew this restaurant from having been there more than once, and location wise, was perfect. Once again, the restaurant didn't disappoint. Naturally, they had a... More

It is nice restaurant with rich selection of grills and pastas. It used to be a family oriented place but I guess they are trying to change their client profile from family with children to regular restaurant goers. They have no more kids menu.

It is nice to go to a friendly place with great food when you are out of town and have no choice but to eat out! The service was excellent and the food was outstanding and priced fair. We will definitely go back when we are in Montreal.

My husband and I went in for dinner, the place looked deserted, should have left. We were seated back in the furthest corner, near a bar. The bartender was our server on our booth, which was the darkest place I have ever eaten... The bartender, our server, seemed as if she was new, we tolerated her, she was pleasant, though... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
