Came her to dine with my two daughters. We were not disappointed. Really excellent Indian food, not too spicy, but just spicy enough. Nice and cozy atmosphere, attentive service and reasonable prices. What more can you ask? Only minor point was that the music initially was a bit loud.

Dropped by for lunch on a cold autumn day. This place just today started buffet on weekends. CDN$14:95. Food was excellent and the service was great. This will be my "go to place" whenever in Montreal.

I had food there twice with an Indian group. Services are good, ambience is different, foods are good. I can't give it "Very Good" because I've had better Indian food. But I'd say it's GOOD!

We are in Montreal for a conference. Our travel agent has booked a lunch and dinner both at this place. The taste of the food is great. I loved the Fish Tikka Masala in main course. The place is neat n clean. Good restaurant location at a happening market. Service is good and food served was fresh. Perfect place to... More

We went for dinner over here and were impressed. Starters, main course and rest were really good. Service is perhaps a bit slow and the food cost in mid-range but I did not care. The decor of this restaurant took me back to old India. Some of the wooden beams and windows must have been imported from India. The only... More

Actually its not a good choice for real authentic Indian food lovers, staff were not looking attentive towards the guests and food is only an average, not recommended for real Indian food lovers as per my opinion.

Prior to our departure for Toronto we came here to have a late lunch and it was a gorgeous day to be on the patio, however when we requested to sit outside they said 'We cannot sit you outside because we cannot service inside and outside as we don't have enough staff!' Your on one of the busiest streets in... More

Superb service - prompt, very pleasant, professional and honest...the server recommended that we reduce our order. The setting is quaint and comfortable with traditional accents. The dinner cuisine is fresh, flavorful with ample servings. We had leftovers which the server willingly prepared as takeout. Butter chicken, eggplant side dish and, garlic naan - a fabulous pairing!

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
