Stopped for a quick lunch. The flat white was strong and velvety and the chicken and bacon panini was delicious. Definitely worth visiting for lunch or a coffee.

Great little cafe with delicious coffees, pastries and sandwiches. Super friendly owner makes you feel right at home. We ate here twice during our stay at a nearby hotel instead of an overpriced buffet. Had perfect cappuccinos, tasty tea, chocolate, almond and regular croissants, breakfast sandwich made on a croissant and one on a bagel, and my son liked the... More

Absolutely the best Cafe in Old Montreal. Very friendly, great food and the best espresso and cappuccino's. The pastry is to die for. We got 8 apple pastry's to go. Mmmmm.... the best. The owner is awesome. Very friendly and he makes you feel like home. Stop by.... you will not be disappointed.

We had delicious croissants at this cosy restaurant. The owners/staff were friendly and the atmosphere unpretentious.

Just a couple cappuccinos, but they were proper cappuccinos. And the man being the counter (owner?) knows proper foam! This ain't no rubber-stamp coffee shop.

As lonely traveler I like interesting meetings. So I came there first time and had nice coffe and prosciutto sendwich. We talked a bit with an owner. And this evening became pretty warm for me! I came second time and then realized that they are closed like for 30 minutes, however he made a coffe for me... It's not only... More

Good food and great service. Great hot chocolate and great coffee. Family owned. Good people. Good prices would rather come here rather then a Starbucks. Free wifi.

Hi John, this is Delphine & Michael from Toronto. I would like to send a BIG thank you for your wonderful service. Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
