Went to celebrate our daughter's birthday. What nice place. Excellent food and atmosphere. Huge selection of wine. Very attentive service. On it's way to be the first resto in Montreal recognized by Michelin.

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to eat at many excellent restaurants around the world. Bouillon Bilk was definitely one of the best we've ever experienced. The veal with uni and the beef with oysters were mind blowing.

Bouillon Bilk is a must dine location whenever we're in Montreal. Been coming here since it first opened and thrilled to see how the food continues to evolve as the restaurant matures. The eight course tasting menu was pure delight, masterfully combining savoury, salty, sweet, tangy, crunchy and unctuous notes - delicate char crudo with trout roe, lamb tartare with... More

Went there for a friend's birthday, and love every dish. I didn't have the wine pairing and ordered only a bottle of white. The only dish which needs a glass of red is lamb. Very daring of using very fresh and uncommon ingredients. Each plate is a piece of art, and expands my palate. Very knowledgable waitresses, each plate was... More

We chose Bouillon Bilk because of all the wonderful reviews...and those reviews were 100% correct! We ordered one of their tasting menus and were blown away by the deliciousness of it all as well as by the presentation of each plate. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Overall, it is well worth the 5 stars!!

Heard a lot about this place before going there. Food is OK and overpriced. Service is excellent but the quality is not there. Would recommend for the foodie that wants to try something new but don't expect the best!

After several dinners in the past few months, we won't be going back. Four of us wanted different dinners. Two wanted the $90 tasting menu; one wanted the $70 tasting menu; and one wanted a la carte of two $17 appetizers and one $34 main course of scallops, and didn't want dessert. Waitress said bluntly: you can't. The manager said... More

My favourite restaurant in Montréal never disappoints. The service is faultless, the definition of attentiveness itself, and their encyclopaedic knowledge of the dishes and the wines is simply astonishing. I had the duck starter with the tagliatelle main and they were both divine. My friends had the vegetarian dishes and the fish and they cannot stop raving about it. Easily... More

Yesterday I went to Bouillon Bilk for dinner. I was invited by a good friend to celebrate his anniversary. He couldn't have done a bette choice! I come to Montreal very often for professional reasons, and I know a little the city. Bouillon Bilk is absolutely the best restaurant I have been so far! Although the menu is simple and... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
