I ate here tonight with a friend and everything was excellent from the time we walked in until the time we left. The staff is very friendly and attentive and they took the time to explain the menu to us. My friend and I shared the oysters which we had both ways baked and raw and then we had the... More

I went to this restaurant with my family for dinner, to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The restaurant is located right across the tennis court of Parc Jeanne-Mance. The staff welcomed us warmly, and explained how the menu works. The menu is split into four sections, “Game” being the Hors d'oeuvre, “Set” being the Entrée, “Match” being the main dish, and... Went for dinner with friends, the warm welcome & attentive service were both excellent from the moment we stepped in till the very end. All the tapas we ordered were very good, for 4 people we had 5 or 6 appetizers & 3 mains. The name Le Filet refers both to the filet du pecheur and the tenderloin and it... More

This restaurant is amazing! Service and food the best! My new favorite place. The cavatelli I ate was served in a rich veal sauce with braised veal cheeks and a topping of foie gras. Fantastic!

We went as a group of 6 and all were satisfied by the quality of the food of Le Filet. We liked the Tuna tartar, the octopus, the miso oyster, the duck, the cod. And finally the desserts though not cheap, were definitely creative. Will go back again.

Simplely one of the best restaurants in montreal. The food is delicious and always thought out. Not inexpensive but you can see all the work that goes into the dishes and service. Strongly recommend.

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
