I went to grab late brunch with my boyfriend and the food was amazing but the service was awful. We waited 20 minutes before someone came to our table and two tables who arrived after us got their breakfast before someone even said hi to us... I asked for brown bread, I got white bread instead and I had to... More

What a funky little place! Looks like a hipster hangout but the food is so good. Had the PB&J french toast and it was incredibly good - I mean it was fantastic. It's always busy so be prepared to wait. Worth it though. Only negative was the latte. It was pretty to look at but didn't taste that great. Will... More

I have been there few times and each time I'm like it's ok not great but the last time it really was just ok! They don't take reservations and won't sit you until your whole group in at the restaurant, which started our girls brunch in a bad note and the food was ok. I can make the same at... More

We were recommended by our host to try Fabergé for brunch and it did not disappoint in the least. It has the feeling of a quirky café with purple velvet booths and interesting, eye-catching décor (i.e. a picture of a unicorn and a Flava Flav clock) and charming chalkboard beverage menus on the wall. Don't know if it was a... More

This last time going was my second time there and I was just as satisfied. So far the pb&j french toast is most definitely my favorite with their lovely large hot chocolate. Be prepared for a wait especially if you are going on a weekend, the line can be out the door, but it is well worth the wait. I... More

The brunch/breakfast is amazing at Faberge. The lineup is a little long though. We've been there a couple of times and have never been disappointed.

My husband and I went for brunch and had a great time. We had amazing service and were seated right away (we went during the week, on the weekends there is usually a line up). We both had an eggs Benedict dish which were both great. The price was also on par for what we had. We would return to... More

My daughters were looking for crepes and Faberge delivered. What we found was a delightful, comfortable little place tucked away in a nice neighborhood. The menu was full of exciting, tasty combinations. One daughter had the Nutella crepes, the other had classic eggs benedict. My wife had an apple/cheddar crepe and I enjoyed the eggs benedict Supreme. Everything was amazing.... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
