Bash restaurant can be found in many places in Montreal. They serve Arabic and Middle eastern food. The prices are fairly cheep as well, in comparison to the portion of food you receive.

Love stopping by Basha on Ste. Catherines each time we visit. The kids love the marinated (purple) turnips. I find myself salivating over the shish tawouk, baba ganoush and hummous every time I think of the place. The tabouli and other salads, rice and always-fresh pita are other compelling reasons to go here often. Pricing is also extremely good. Get... More

I ate here as part of a party of 5 during the Montreal Comic Con. The place was crowded, with a line-up to order extending almost outside the door. Service gets slow when there is a flood of people. The staff does try their best but there has got to be a more efficient way to try to accommodate large... More

Great Place to eat. Everything is fresh, love the variety of dishes. The prices are reasonable and the amount of the food is a lot..

The food was average, but all in all, just plain fast food and small portions. I went there last time to check the lunch menu at 11:00 am, upon walking through the doors, I was rudely greeted by the manager yelling at me that the restaurant wasn't opened yet to get out ( the doors were open). I turned around... More

But the vegetarian platter was nice and filling. The choices were fine and I lucked out as all five I picked were good but the server couldn't be bothered to tell me what they were. Maybe he didn't speak English but he was pretty rude. Not going back.

Breakfast consisted of 2 eggs, 2 slices toast, sausage, home fries, lettuce, tomato slices and coffee for less than $5. A real bargain and veryfilling. They have a variety of breakfast dishes. There is also a dozen menu of lunch/dinner meals to go or eat in the food court. You can't go wrong with the quantity of servings given for... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
