EVERYTHING at this bakery is amazing. We know because we casually bought a baguette for some cheese, and then hurried back the next day to buy lunch for our car drive home from Montreal. We had to spend all our canadian dollars (Guillaume only takes cash), and so bought variety of sandwiches, croissants, bread, cinnamon roll, apple turnover. We gobbled... More

Delicious bread. So many types of bread are available that it's difficult to choose what to purchase. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Guillaume since day 1, lucky that I live close by. Everything is good, the baguettes are crisp, croissants are good so many good things can't list them all. The new location is perfect and thanks for the petite green space outside.

This was the final stop of our mile end food tour. It is a trendy little boulangerie which specialises in about 70 types of bread and pastries. We tried the champignon Blanc which translates to white (chocolate) mushroom. The owner and his wife have worked hard to make this venture work so go and support this amazing place ! A... More

Went to Blvd St..Laurent location. Had the best almond croissant I have ever had! Recommend it if you like sugar! Daughter ordered date bread. It was extremely tasty! Will go back just for that! Also purchased cheese herb roll and cookies. Embraced the atmosphere outside the shop at lovely city sitting area, enjoying the shade and the sweets on a... More

Super tasty - highly recommend the apple maple bun and the pizza. Go early to avoid the lines, as there was quite a queue when we were here on a Saturday morning.

What a bakery should be: shelves overflowing with a large assortment of fresh handmade breads and buns, very reasonable prices and fast and friendly service. My husband and I came across this place while walking around St Laurent Blvd. The chocolate croissants, lemon poppy seed loafs, cheese buns, olive ciabatta, and baguettes were all delicious! Everything was so good that... More

Did not notice anyone reporting new address for Guilluame - 5134 Blvd St. Laurent. Nice selection of baked items - tried the chocolate chip and hazelnut bun this time. Photos attached.

One of my favourite bread bakeries in town. But the question of which of the two of these to order is easy... this is definitely the best ficelle in town! (A ficelle, if you don't know, is half the weight of the baguette but thin and long) I love the crunchiness of the outside but the beautiful doughiness on the... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
