Taste of Trinidad in Montreal. Food was very delicious. Ordered the Boneless Beef Roti and some palourie. The mean was worth the find. Staff was very friendly

Worth every penny and taste just like home. The prices may seem a little on the expensive side but the take out portions are enough for two, and good quality and fresh. The chicken was moist and flavourful as well as crunchy. Nice nice pepper...sauce. The fried rice seasoned perfectly. And can’t forget the side of sweet plantin and cold malta to wash it down. just to know, it’s cash only. ATM insideMore

This is the second time we've enjoyed the food in this restaurant. They make excellent chicken roti. Fresh dhall and filled with chicken and potatoes. We also ordered chicken chow mein. Really good as well. Will definitely go back.

The owners are RACIST! THEY SERVE RECYCLED FOOD! BEWARE! My fiancé and I came here for lunch the day we got engaged. We were served by a Indian-Trinidadian man. The man serving us was initially quite rude to my fiancé (who is white). He said...he felt like the man was annoyed with him being in the restaurant. The food honestly wasn’t that great. I ordered the beef lo-mein. The beef was extremely dry, chewy and inedible. I decided not to complain, however the Indian man who works there noticed that I didn’t eat my food and asked me if everything is ok. I lied and told him that everything is fine. He then pressured me to tell him why I did not eat the lo mein. I then politely told him that the beef was extremely hard to chew. This man then flipped out on my fiancé and I. He went into a racist rant about how black women are “difficult” “stupid” and “disgusting”. He then said that people of different races should not mix. He then went on to say that his wife is indo-Trinidadian and he would never marry outside of his race. I was extremely shocked and angry by what I was hearing. This man clearly hates the very people who are coming into his restaurant! He seemed angry that I criticized the Lo Mein and was trying to tell me that I don’t like the food because I am a “stupid black woman” who “complains about everything”. The man then went on to proudly explain how the lo mein is prepared by the restaurant. He said they make it at the beginning of the week and then keep refridgerating and heating up the same batch until it is all gone. Which perfectly explains why the beef was dried out and hard to chew. It was days (maybe weeks) old and cooked several times over! I was so shocked at the ease with which this man told me this! He seemed to think that serving people old food is totally normal! I guess he doesn’t think his clientele (who appear to be predominantly black) deserve better! I complained to the female owner of the restaurant (I think her name is Bebita). She didn’t care about my complaint and denied that her partner said anything racist. She clearly harbours the same sentiments! This restaurant should be inspected by the health department and shut down. I will be filing several complaints for racial discrimination and food safety violations.More

It's the long weekend. So we decided to check out Caribbean paradise, we have tried others in Montreal And by far this is the best. We were treated, friendly, and welcoming, our waiter was outstanding. Our food arrived fast, and fresh.

We usually order take out. The restaurant is mostly used for large parties so it's pretty much empty when we get there. I've had ox tail (which was a little disappointing because the bones were small). Curry goat with rice and peas is terrific. The...roti is vrrt good and plantain is deliciousMore

I discovered this place by accident because a friend organised an event here. It is good comfort food, the rotis were good, with generous portions and great meat to potatoes ratio. It reminded me of my trip down south! Decor is a bit lacking, but...who cares. It's Caribbean in vibe as well as in pace so don't expect fast service if you're in a rush. Great sauces and sides. They also have a nice authentic drink selection. Great portion and great taste which left me wanting more. Curry goat and goat roti were both authentic and delectable. They do mostly catering and take out. Don't let this deter you. Way better than Maison du Cari on Victoria for example.Prices were very fair and staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back!More

I would stop off here for weekly visits for pick up order of their delicious chow mein. Their chicken chow mein is nothing short of amazing and so tasty. This is a MUST TRY. Their rotis are good too. But in my opinion, their chow.main...is best I've tasted anywhere. But one thing to keep in mind is they don't do debit card. So walk with cash. So it's good that they are also inexpensive.More

Honestly the food is very tasty but the waiter is a bit odd. I will be back but will opt to take my food to go in the future. Good food though.

Picked up some Chicken Curry in Roti, Rice and peas(beans), and fried plantain from here this week. We found the Chicken Curry in Roti to be DELICIOUS and a large size for just 7$ sure beats any fast food you could get for this price...and so much more flavor! My husband found the rice to have a moldy flavor.. but I think it was the spice they used though I did find it a bit bland myself. The fried plantain was the best I have ever had, slightly sweet and just the right texture. So glad to have found a new roti spot so close to home (used to travel to Carribean Curry House). Will try the jerk chicken next time.More

During a recent stay in Jamaica I had the pleasure of feasting on jerk chicken practically every day (and washing it down with Red Stripe). I believe I know how I like my jerk chicken done, and The Carribean Paradise Restaurant in Lasalle, Quebec do...it right. The texture and hotness is perfect and the peices are chopped with a cleaver just like they do it in the jerk huts on the beaches in Montego Bay. They even add extra sauce in small containers if anyone desires extra heat. Besides this dish there are many other fabulous items on the menu such as rotis of all kinds, curry chicken, goat, beef and vegetarian. They serve stew butter fish, rice and peas, patties and fried plantain. One important note: their portions are very generous. Oh yes, wash evrything down with a glass of Red Stripe, banana soda, mango juice or rum punch. I just love this place!More
