This is one of the places we go on regular basis and we use it for all our parties. The service is very good, on time and very helpful for someone that is not familiar with Russian or other eastern European cuisine. It is a family owned business. The chef is a real pro and can cook anything you can... More

Price and value of the food is good. I like the fact that they make their food all fresh. The restaurant is also very cozy. A good night for a romantic dinner. I ordered shrimp and my partner ordered chicken Kiev. It was good portion and filling. they have also the degustation menu and some special dinner. Everything was top... More

Went Saturday at 16h (4pm) to find it closed with the sign on the door showing that it should be open. We ate next door. An hour later it was still closed.

I absolutely love this cozy family-type restaurant! The food is to die for! Chicken Kiev is the best that I have ever tried, and I know Russian food! Also dumplings and Oliver salad followed by beef stroganoff is the food of gods! I recommend it to everyone!

As a friend advised me to try this restaurant, I organized my birthday party here, and I was very happy to have done that. Everything was excellent, the appetizers were very tasty and beautifully presented! The main course that I chose was equally delicious and attractive! The whole atmosphere was warm and reminded me of home, as we had music... More

We had lunch here. There are 2 russian restaurants in the area but I think this is the best one. We had the lunch menu for only CA$15. Delicious borsch, great meat. Staff very friendly. Great location in Côte-des-Neiges, near the Oratory of St. Joseph.

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
