Amazing ambiance coupled with fresh Italian food simply sums up Da Vinci. A stroll to the washroom shows just how many famous people have dined there. Seafood dishes amazing, appetizers amazing. I have been here two separate occasions while I was in Montreal and both times did not disappoint. I have had the seafood risotto and tomahawk t-bone on those... More

The last time I had risotto that was so delicious was 30 years ago during a family trip to Italy! Levi was an amazing host and server! We will definitely be back!

We reserved a table at Da Vinci for my son's birthday. Having never been there before, I would definitely return . Not only was the food delicious, the service from our server Lavi was incredible. He had excellent recommendations and was readily available if we had any questions. He surprised us by bringing out a large piece of cake with... More

A very nice Italian restaurant. We were there with a group of 6 people, and the service was really good. The waiter had a very good overview, and really knew his trade

I reserved a table at Da Vinci for my anniversary having no prior experience there and trusting only past reviews. Before I mention anything, let me just say that the service from our server Lavi was incredible. Excellent recommendations, a great sense of humour, and was always there if we had any questions. Made our anniversary extra special. I would... More

My boyfriend and I spent our anniversary at Da Vinci and everything was perfect. The food was absolutely to die for... My boyfriend had a seafood linguini topped with a half lobster, and I had crab-stuffed, zucchini-wrapped shrimps on Parmesan risotto. The quality, presentation and taste merited a five-star rating for us. Also, our server Lavi made the night as... More

Hosted a corporate event for 20 odd clients with dinner and a wine tasting. The best event ever. The menu was perfect and the food pairing to the wines was perfect. Have since visited fit lunch and dinner and never disappointed. Highly recommend

Took my girlfriend here for a late Valentine's day meal. Had the osso bucco with risotto (meat fell off- don't even need a knife!), and she had lamb chops with risotto. Both were very excellent and full of flavour, perfect amount of food, and visually enticing. The waiter/staff/manager were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The manager Lavi was extremely friendly... More

Absolutely a gem of an Italian restaurant in the heart of Montreal. Fantastic pasta, the veal chop was one of the best I have ever had. The presentation is excellent. Service is superb. The wine list is extensive. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a great Italian meal while in Montreal.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
