The ribs are phenomenal, tender and juicy with a bark that tastes like candy! Not fancy but the food is good with great atmosphere

We were a large group without a reservation, and the manager took us in right away and made us feel like we were family. The waitress had personality plus. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for the quantity of food you received. Can't go wrong with this location.

Great pork ribs in a very special sauce. Sweet, greasy...sticky...you must eat them with your fingers. This relatively pricy restaurant is renowned for their ribs for ages. The decor has not changed for the past 30 years at least so if you're looking for fancyness, this is not the right place for you. This is the best place to go... More

Delicious ribs. House wine excellent for reasonable price. Smaller menu but ample portions. Chicken, fries, coleslaw, salad.

Delicious! Had the chicken and ribs at the downtown location and found them to be amazing. The ribs were not too fatty and not to dry. It's a real different type of restaurant kids and family's will love it. I guarantee you will not have this type of experience anywhere else in town. Service was amazing, really nice lady wish... Having lived in Montreal (and growing up to Bar B Barn ribs night) and moving to the UK... whenever I return to Montreal this is the place I go to first. This visit was fantastic as ever. Large juicy sweet barbeque ribs, yummy barbeque sauce for the fries and chicken and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The service was lovely.... More

I ended up here as a guest while visiting a relative in the hospital. A family member said you must come here. While we were all there my brother asked if we all remembered the radio commercials for this restaurant from back in the 70's but I was too young and I moved out of the province many years ago.... Awesome place to eat. Good portion. The ribs are to die for. My hubby called them Dinasor ribs. Staff was friendly.

Casual dining in a cosy atmosphere. We spice and marinate our ribs and chicken for 24 hours then slow cook for 3 hours until the ribs are fall off the bone tender and the chicken is crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside!

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
