This place was originally across the street .It was opened by a waiter at Fung Shing downtown. The food and service is just as great as fung shing although the place is newer and quite larger the quality is next none. The menu is a carbon copy of the other place but if you live in the Jean Talon area around TMR... I went to this establishment for lunch with my wife and we were presently surprised because the food was very good. I had an excellent won ton soup that actually had flavour and you did not need to add soya sauce. My wife had the General Tao and crispy noodles and it was delicious. I had the Orange Beef with... Kam Shing on Cote des Neiges Road has gone DOWNHILL over the years. Our recent visit was hugely disappointing. The General Tao chicken was disgusting and not edible. The pieces of chicken were SO hard it was a struggle to cut with a knife, let alone bite into. When we brought this to the attention of the wait staff, they... More

The staff is just terrible, rude, doesn't smile. The food it's just as good as any resto in chinatown, nothing exceptional just average. Doesn't worth the wait and the waiters attitude.

Went out for dinner on our recent visit to Montreal, wanted to have some good Chinese, We stayed with what we knew and went to Kam Shing. The food and service was good. The only disappointment was the General Tao, it had a different flavor than what I remember. Regardless, other than that it was great,

We went to celebrate my nephews birthday. All the food was excellent, service wonderful, portions plentiful. Enjoyed everything and will definitely go again.

5 of us came here for early afternoon (3:00pm) supper.Despite the hour the place was almost full. This is the type of place that you go for the great food, keep in mind the service needs a bit of patience, and the decor is just OK. But the food is amazing and the portion sizes are huge.We had the fried noodles... More

This is my families favorited spot for Chinese. Everything we he ever tried is spot on.. The hot and sour soup is my favorite... My kids are fans of the wonton noodle soup The general tso is #1 and anything fried noodle is a hit! Just remember, you don't go for the service, you go for the food!

My review of Kam Shing 6730 Cote des Neiges seems to have vanished into the bowels of Trip Advisor. No point in writing more reviews. And no way to contact a human being at Trip Advisor
